  1. Hi there, Congrats! We got married there last June, right after it opened. We had the ceremony and reception on the rooftop (GORGEOUS) and had a DJ, private dinner and open bar for 50 people. It cost us right around $8000. I wouldn't have changed a thing, it was perfect! Let me know if you'd like any other info, I can send you our budget or photos, and not sure if things have changed since then. p.s. if you want the rooftop at Hideaway children are not allowed, just an FYI
  2. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour on the sky deck at the hideaway, and the private reception dinner on the Royalton Sky deck. We chose the Mexican experience which was a great package! We used our semi private dinner as our rehearsal dinner as well. Excellent food at both the reception and rehearsal. we had 50 guests, both spots were perfect for that number! Send me your email and I can shoot you some photos...happy to answer any other questions! Jenn
  3. We just got married 6/27 and had 50 guests, it was AMAZING!!! I highly recommend this resort as a wedding venue. 1. We got married on the sky deck at the hideaway and Reception at the sky deck at Royalton. Ceremony at 5pm, cocktail hour 5:30-6:30 and reception at 7-11pm. 2. DJ through resort is AMAZING!! nobody left the dance floor 3. the girls at the spa do hair/make up spot on..honestly, better than in the states!! Loved them!!! 4. The coordinator on the resort is so sweet and covers all your bases perfectly, do not worry! Any other questions send them my way!! Jenn
  4. Hey guys, I am getting married in June 2015 (60-70 people) and realized it's definitely much easier to stay with inside vendors due to cost. I am going to keep the DJ on site and hair/make up through the spa. 1. We have chosen to do the private reception vs. semi private (we do not have photos of these spots, please share if you do!) 2. We have chosen sky deck 3. We will be doing the Mexican experience Please let me know if you find anyone that has already had their wedding there or if you can find extra photos or details of the day. It's hard for me to envision! Congrats to you guys! jenn
  5. Congratulations!! I agree, so happy to hear everything went smoothly, can't wait for some photos!
  6. Hi there! We booked a wedding with all of our guests at the Royalton Riviera Cancun and are having an awful time with the planning as they are nickel and diming us for everything. It's difficult and not what we expected. We'd like to rent out a restaurant and try to have a ceremony/reception there, but are unsure where to go?!? Wishlist: 1. Within a half hour drive of Royalton Riviera Cancun 2. Ability to possibly rent out to a party of 55-70 3. Preferably a rustic feel..nothing modern! Hoping somebody has a suggestion for me, thank you! Jenn
  7. I got all the prices of hair/make up, location fees, and every a la cart item, including flowers, DJ, dance floor. VERY expensive..yikes. Just a heads up it's all available to you... Good luck!
  8. Hey guys, i'm getting super nervous as there's such minimal info, pictures and pricing! A couple things I found out today: 1. If you do the semi private reception there is no DJ. You have to reserve a PRIVATE reception which is an additional location fee, DJ fee and open bar fee. Also, minimally $60 pp to eat 2. Flowers are super expensive and only a limited list of available flowers 3. You cannot bring in an outside vendor for flowers 4. If you want to bring in an external photographer it's $450 Have you guys heard where the ceremony can be held? Any other details please pass along...this girl wants flowers and dancing
