Hi there. I am getting married at a villa in Cabo on January 10th and since we are having such a small wedding, we only wanted to hire a photographer for 2 hours too. We chose Enrique Morales (www.emweddings.com). He is charging us $600 and that includes a CD with all the pictures. He has been great to work with so far, very responsive, and I am confident he will do a terrific job for us, so thought I would pass on his details to you. Hope you have a wonderful wedding! Jane

I just wanted to share some pictures of some gorgeous paper flower creations I just had made by Chantal Laroque of Dragonfly Expressions. She has an online shop on www.etsy.com. She was fantastic to work with and a totally sweet person. Her designs look lovely online, but in person they are even better! She made me menu cards, place cards, chair swags, flowers for the plants that are just outside the villa we are getting married at, corsages for my Mom and mother- in- law, a boutonnière for my nephew, and flowers to put in a vase on the tables in our villa. I picked out the design online and told her my wedding colours and she did the rest. Just gorgeous and I am really happy with them. Now I can bring these down from Canada with me and not have to worry about any issues at customs, and also my sweety and my guests will have a lovely keepsake of our special day. I am getting married at Villa Pelicano on January 10th. You can rent some amazing villas through cabovillas.com. Suzanne Morel is not only providing her mobile spa services to us at the villa, but is also providing most of my wedding decor and coordinating the day for me. She is very efficient and her team are great to work with. I also wanted to bring down some nice decor items of my own and not have problems bringing anything living, like flowers, into Mexico. I ended up ordering custom made paper flowers, including menu cards, place cards and chair swags for my honey and myself from a fantastic lady in Ontario, Canada from her online shop at www.etsy.com, called "Dragonfly Expressions". I am going to try and attach some pictures of the work she did for me, but her flowers in person are even better...beautiful and delicate and a lovely addition to the real flowers at our wedding. We are using Arturo Sotomayor ( a mexican classical guitarist) for our cocktail hour and he gave us a suggested playlist for us to choose from and has been a total sweetheart to work with. Our reverend is Marco Arechiga, who seems to do most of the weddings in Cabo, but he has been very professional and charming from our first initial contact with him. Our photographer is Enrique Morales and while we haven't seen his finished product, he too has been very responsive to date. Finally, we are using a "Matter of Taste" catering and Lisa has been a pleasure to work with. While their prices are a little on the high side compared to other quotes we received, they are very experienced wedding caterers and their food comes highly recommended. Our real flowers and wedding cake were ordered through Los Cabos Flowers at www.loscabosflowers.com and Donna and Francine have been great to work with and very accomodating with my budget and my changes. I was able to see what most of my flowers will look like via e-mail and can't wait to see them in person! When you are coordinating with vendors remotely, reputation and experience counts for a lot!
