  1. my daughters will be in our wedding.  My oldest who is 11 will be a junior bridesmaid and my youngest 3yrs old will be the flower girl.

For the ceremony we are planning on exchanging our vows.  Then after we are planning on having my fiance exchange mini vows to the girls on becoming their step dad.   Once he is finished then he will give each of my girls a necklace (in place of a ring exchange).

  2. Not a Azul Beach bride.  However, I did just come home from a wedding there a few weeks ago in October.  Loved the resort.  Not sure if it was due to slow season, but the staff was amazing.  Everyone knew all of us guests by name which was nice.  Not much for entertainment.  The shows were just okay.  There was a Michael Jackson tribute show,  a Lion King puppet type show.  One of the nights they had live music - the girl who sang was amazing!   My friend's wedding turned out beautiful.  I think their only complaint was their cake was tiny heart shaped and it cost them $200 extra for it.

  3. My fiance and I work in the travel industry.  We want to have a travel theme for our wedding.  We love the idea of the Boarding Pass Invitations and to use the Passport invites as Welcome info packets for our guests.  However, I'm not too DIY savvy and being mom of two don't have much time or family in the area to help me make them.

Can anyone recommend some sites that can customize that I can order them through?

  4. Hello ladies,

I am recently engaged and looking for some input on resorts in Cancun/ Riviera Maya area.  Not sure where to even start.  I live in the Ft. Worth/Dallas area and there is only one Destination Wedding Travel agency in the area, but they are still too far away.  Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations.

We actually went to a wedding at the Azul Beach Resort last month in October and it is the same place I was engaged.

I loved the resort, but their packages only offered up to 25 guests and we will probably need more than that. I know I can pay after that for each additional guest.  However, trying to keep a decent budget for the wedding.

We are looking for an all-inclusive family friendly resort on the beach that is good for swimming.

I want my two daughters to be part of the wedding ages 3 &11.

We would like a resort that offers a package with ceremony, reception dinner and possibly cocktail/welcome dinner.

We will be having approximately 40-67 guests

would love a resort that offers incentives for the more guests we have stay: free wedding, free rooms, discount rates for guests, etc.

also what would he low season or mid season for these areas.  My fiance wants to do early- mid 2015.
