    That sounds great. Let me know what you hear from your WC. We are hoping to have 40-50 people and the ceremony is at the gazeboo with the reception on the beach. A smaller wedding sounds less stressful to me.

    I am getting married at Dreams Cancun in October of 2014. We just sent out our STD last week. I have been trying to get somewhat organized and getting (coping) other ideas for party favors and OOT bags. It can be a bit overwhelming but nice to be able to have this forum to chat.

    We are getting married at Dreams Cancun in October of 2014 and are trying to figure out if we need to hire a DJ or if we would be fine hiring a technician to run the Bose sound system for the ceremony and the reception? All thoughts are welcome and thanks ladies!

    Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort & Spa All Inclusive

    October Wedding at Dreams

    Pros: Great resort for families with kids and weddings
    Cons: BEach area is small
    We had about 70 guests (56 adults and 14 kids under the age of 14) for our wedding at Dreams.  We had a travel agent work with our guests to book their trips.  The majority of the guests flew in from Denver, CO so it was a pretty easy trip.   We made out of town bags for our guests and they included: Bags – from Oriental Trading Wedding Week Survival Kit / In Sickness and Health Bags- These small bags consisted of hand sanitizer, sun screen, aloe vera gel, chap stick, band aids, Tylenol, and p

    Mannia Cancun - Punta Cana Professional DJ Services

    DJ Mannia at Dreams PA

    Pros: On time and played our set of songs
    Cons: Messed up the intros
    DJ Mannia was great to work with.  They responded quickly to my emails and did a good job of communication to any questions we had.  The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is that the DJ messed up the intros.  We are a same sex couple and he introduced us as Mr. and Mrs. but quickly realized his mistake and fixed it.  I know he felt bad about that but we were actually laughing about it.  He also kinda bungled the other names in the bridal party (and we had a small group).  He also messed up
