  1. I'm new to the thread and have questions that haven't been answered so I'm hoping you can help. So does anyone have a sample menu? From this thread I see it is $50 per person for 2 hours and $75 for three hours. I don't know what the menu is though. Other resorts have sent us sample menus. Can someone tell me how good the food was? Can someone tell me the policy for seating everyone in a restaurant instead of private? What is the host bar? Everything is all inclusive so is there better alcohol? Can someone clarify the iPod dock? I see $75 per hour some places and $150 per hour on other posts I'm familiar with the property otherwise having been there before two months ago.To be honest I didn't like any of the wedding locations. Other resorts have much much nicer ceremony locations. I always imagined getting married on the beach would give all guests magnificent views. This is not the case here. I saw the two gazebos and they were ok. I didn't like the area in front of Schooners at all as guests don't have a few of the ocean and the "ocean front" wedding area they offer isn't ocean front. It's set back on the sand not close to the water at the end of the property near the Caribbean pool. Just know that it's not ocean front and it is next to the pool so everyone will be yelling. I watched about 5 weddings at the property while I was there for ideas and felt bad for a lot of those people. Does anyone know if there are added locations now that the new Key West resort is open? We are looking at having the wedding off property now. Has anyone done this or have suggestions? . Just FYI we had photos taken with two different photographers at two different times and different days while there. We were very unhappy with the pics. We have been to 5 all inclusive resorts and have had professional pics done at each. They are all amazing except Beaches. My advice is to figure out a way to not use their photographers. They aren't good and insanely expensive. I'm bringing one with me. I see others here have expressed the same. We are choosing Beaches based on it being all inclusive and allowing kids and this is the only resort on the island that allows it. We are just looking to make the most of that decision. Is the beach in front of the property considered to be owned by Beaches or is it public domain? I would assume that if it is public I can hire an outside company to do a set up on the beach? My other advice to people on this board is to book in the Italian village. I was not impressed with the rooms in the French and Caribbean.
