Tlseege - did any of the brides you photographed have their own music at dinner in the restaurants? We are having dinner from 5-630, and I have heard they dont start seating regular resort guests until 6pm.... wondering if they would let us do dinner music if it was just our wedding party???

For music during dinner, does anyone know if you have to bring your own ipod and speakers to the restaurant, or if you give your ipod to your wedding coordinator, will she have it set up in the restaurant with the resorts equipment?

JDubya - what did you tip your wedding coordinator and bartenders? We have 52 people coming and I have only gotten 2 email responses for a wedding that is only 3 months away.... not too happy with my wedding coordinator right now, but hopeful she will start responding in next month.

Hi Ladies, what is everyone doing for guest gifts? We are planning to do 1 gift basket per room that includes the following: 1 beach bag, mini brochure highlighting the wedding day/activities we recommend and a brief section called “get to know our guests†– possibly including a picture of each family/friend and how we know them, 2, 24 oz tumblers with straws (great for all –inclusive resorts where the bars only give you little plastic cups to drink from!), aspirin, bug spray, sun block and fun sunglasses- Just a little worried about how this is going to work as far as getting these items through the airport/customs…. Wondering if anyone has shipped down items to the hotel prior to arrival or if anyone is planning to do this??

Hi Ladies- just wondering if any past brides have used the Salon services at the hotel for you and your bridesmaids.... What did you pay and did you think it was worth it? I would like to pay for all of my bridesmaids to have their hair done for the wedding but would like some feedback/opinions from those that have done this.

This is great! What is everyone using to create their playlists? ITunes, Spotify, etc?

Did anyone line up private transportation for guests to and from the airport since it is an hour drive? We are planning to have between 50-75 guests and I would really like to line up 2 different buses/shuttles for private transfers but want to know thoughts from people who have done this-

We are still waiting for an email from Paloma to confirm our Feb 25th 2014 date. One of my girlfriends got married in Mexico and her guests booked almost a year in advance but her travel agent advised them to buy travel insurance because there are a lot of deals that pop up throughout the year, so her guests that did got the cheapest price possible no matter when they booked.

But then I asked her what the next step is as far as choosing a wedding site/dinner/reception site etc. and am still waiting to hear back from her. We are planning a February 25th, 2014 wedding at GBP- undecided on which location though.... Let me know if you hear back on the 2014 wedding package pricing!
