Hi Everyone, I'm freaking out a little cause I really want our wedding at Majestic Colonial, but don't want our guest to have to re-mortgage their houses to afford it! I've seen a lot of posts that people have been getting a TA to get group rates and start booking about a year in advance. We are getting married April 17th, 2014 at Majestic Colonial with the majority of our guests departing from Toronto, Ontario. So we decided to try to get some pricing for travel but it is around $2000 PER PERSON (7-days including flights and hotel). I have been to Majestic before and never paid anywhere close to this price. Does anyone think it is just too early to book anything and also, if you have guest flying from Toronto, what prices did you get? Maybe I need to find a better TA.

That's exactly what I'm going to do. I spoke to someone at Sephora on the weekend and she said it cost is about 45 mins-1 hr and it is free if you buy $50 worth of product.

Thanks Zhenia. We are April 17th, so we will probably be there from the 12th - 22nd. The WC's have been so helpful, but we are actually thinking about going down next month for 5-days just to check into things a bit more, even though we have been there before. Have you booked everything already? We are doing a private dinner and reception at the Parrot Bar right now, but still have to book music, decorations, etc.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the site and just set our wedding for April, 2014 at Majestic Colonial. We are so excited but there are also so many questions. I've been reading a lot of your posts and they are very helpful, thanks so much. One question I have about the photographer. We have a friend who does photography who will come with us and stay at the resort for the week as a guest of our wedding but he was also being doing our pics and maybe video. Does anyone know if we would have to pay the $300 fee still, even if he is paying for the entire week at the resort?
