We bought a Bose system for it. It's a bit pricey, but way cheaper than renting the system. It's small and it could fit into my big purse!

I'm getting married at the ROR on October 15th and I'm a bit worried too. A little rain I can handle though. Just hope nothing more!

We are having a semi private dinner and then doing a private resection on the beach afterwards. Does anyone know where on the beach it is held? I've read conflicting posts about it being on the beach directly and also at the Seagrape bar on the beach. Does anyone have up to date info? Patricia is on vacation so I can't ask her.

I got a different quote for the plantation restaurant. They said there is a $1000 fee for 4 hours and $25.50 per son and that includes open bar. Not sure if I am being misquoted? $10.50 is a lot better!!

Hey Ladies! I am new to this group! I had originally planned to get married in the Dominican, but we changed to this resort last week. My TA, also my MIL, got us a great rate so we couldn't say no! So I am getting married at the ROR October 15th, 2013. We have the beach booked for a 3pm ceremony. We will have about 40 people with us, give or take a few. I need your help! So, if we stay under the 40 mark I can have a free reception, right? If I go over, which is a big possibility, I have to have a private dinner, right? So which package do I choose? The free one or the caprice package? I am so confused about everything! The resort we originally chose had everything included. This resort does not! Thank you!

Hi Ladies! This is my first post ever! My fiance and I have decided to have a destination wedding! We definitely want to go to Punta Cana but we cannot decide on which hotel. We like the Riu Bambu and the Majestic Colonial. We know the Colonial is more money, but does that mean it's better? Can anyone please tell me what they liked/disliked about these hotels and what kind of group "perks" did you get? For example, if you book so many people the bride and groom stay free. Oh and we have two kids under 5 so we also would like input on that as well. I'm all new at this so tell me EVERYTHING!!!! Thank you! Tara
