oh ok. I thought the 150 posts was some thing i didn't know about because sometimes my posts aren't added right away and I get a comment box saying they need to be reviewed before posting since I'm new. I didn't think of "peacock" it makes me think of turquoise...I guess its sort of a turquoise, but darker? LOL. I like the blue palette. I wanted blue or pink and of course blue won since my FI doesn't want anything pink...he's lucky blue is my other favorite color! What do your bridesmaid dresses look like? I haven't started dress shopping, but I think I should get on it soon as I was told it could take a few months to get bridesmaid and wedding dress? I was just trying to hold off as long as possible. Still trying to lose this baby weight :/

I'm still trying to decide on a decoration package...I wanted to have the aqua tulle and aqua sashes, but I think its like $500 or something for the ceremony alone! ( I don't have the papers in front of me)...so I'm thinking about whether I should even have a decoration package. Or if I should get the decoration package for the reception...just not sure what to do...

Hey!! I had to laugh at your post that you feel like eloping everyday. I already have the kids and a house with my fiance. We got engaged a little over a year ago in St. John, found out I was preggo with twins in September...our wedding was supposed to be this past summer, but since we had the twins we pushed it to 7/2013....talk about trying to plan a wedding, working full-time, and 8 month old twins at home. Sometimes I feel like pulling my hair out!! lol just had to share.

I haven't looked at wedding dresses either but its on top of my to do list. I cannot wait for the day to come!! I still have to find time to do that. Right now I was just focusing on planning the main even things, dinner/reception, photographer,DJ, save the dates, ahhh i feel like i'm so behind on everything! At least I ordered my save the dates yesterday...lol

Hello I'm new on here as well and didn't realize I needed to post 150 times! lol. I don't really have a color scheme, my main color is like a baby blue/teal. That will be the color of my bridesmaid dresses, and table lines and sashes. Happy planning!

Hi Ladies! I'm new on here as well. My wedding is going to be at Majestic Elegance in Punta Cana on 7/27/13. Sooo much to do, but sooo excited!! Just this month I have finally begun my planning.

These fans are awesome. Might be a silly question, but when you wrap them, how does the ribbon stay in place? Or were you able to wrap it tight enough so that it stays?

Hi Ladies. So I wanted to get some ideas of what you ladies may be doing if there is a big gap between your wedding ceremony and your dinner reception. My ceremony is at 3:00pm. But the dinner isn't until 6:30pm. I'm assuming we'll be done by 3:30pm, then we can take group pics and some alone pics of my hubby and I. But what should I have my guests do until 6:30pm? Do any of you have this big of a time gap? And if so, what are you having your guests do in the meantime?

I don't see the one that you say you can upload more than 1 pic...I get 3 different layouts to choose from. The most I can upload is 2 pics...blah. i did fine the Custom Layout...I guess I will give that a try. Thanks for all of your help!!

I think I'm blind...where is the add photo icon? for example if editing a particular page on my website, there is Page Title, then Image with the Browse icon. But thats to add 1 pic...then i have the format, font, size, etc to edit the text. I don't see the add photo icon.

Wow! You did a great job on your website. I want to do what u did, add pictures on different pages of the website...but when i use either the IMG code or html code, it shows the code and not the picture...so frustrating!!

Are any of you having trouble adding pictures to your wedding website? I'm on weddingwire and I want to add pictures, I've tried the html code and the img code, but the text just shows up on the site, not the picture that I want. What am I doing wrong?

Hey Ladies! I was wondering if you all had any advice on how you picked a travel agency to help with booking your and your guests accomodations? I have never used one and have no idea where to start. My wedding is on 7/27/12. Im so far behind on my planning Im currently working on my website so that I can send out the save the dates. Originally I had thought of just having everyone book travel and rooms on their own, but im reconsidering. Any info that you could provide would be great!
