    Hey Angela! Here's some info I've been collecting on what to put in OOT bags, here's some ideas: Map of the resort Tylenol mini pack Pesto bismol chewables Aloe Vera "Shout out" pen Hand sanitizer Bandaids Chapstick Bubba keg -- to fill up to take to the beach so there are less back and forths to the pool bar? Not sure if there are bars at the beach actually. This could also be handy if you have a tour day with your guests too. Zip lock bags or something for people to put their money inside so it's kept dry. Hair ties ...small little things that people may forget to pack but likely use on the trip. :) Hope that helps! P.s. Now this may not matter...but I'm also getting married at Barcelo Maya Palace and it'll be mine and fiancé's 12 year anniversary! Super cool. Big huge congratulations!!!     Hi, I am getting married at La Perla on May 17th, 2013 but haven't even gotten a list of reception venues, do any of you girles have any suggestions? Thank you bunches!
    Hi tashaw! I'm getting married at the Paradisus La perla on May 25th! For reception venues I have heard about the gazebo and it holds 50 comfortably. It's really beautiful and a nice private area. I'm not sure if we are going to do a private dinner reception, we will have an hour long cocktail reception and then maybe a dinner reservation at one of the resturants......still up in the air mainly because of the small number of people we are expecting (20-30). We wont know for the next few months. I'm pretty sure they do receptions at the Gabi bar so you might want to inquire about that, looks really beautiful there too! I haven't received or asked for specific reception locations from the WC yet so all of this info is from other BDW brides that have done site visits or gotten further into planning. My plan is to get further into details with the resort when it gets closer and I have a more definite head count! Hope this helps! Happy planning!     Hi Katie, First I would set up an account and then design a few items and then add them to your cart. If you let them sit in your cart for a bit the emails will come. I've also tried just ordering something small and when your package arrives there is always coupons that they include! Also look out for groupon deals, they cycle through quite often!     Hi, In regards to the beach- I actually was thinking of having the welcome BBQ on the beach ( I have about 60-80 people coming).  With tables and chairs and buffets stand , It thought it might be too narrow- Im still thinking about this.  Dont get me wrong its a large beach area, and you can def host the ceremoney on the beach.  In december they are hosting a 450 person ceromoney on the Beach (yes I repeat 450)...so dont worry you are ok to have the ceromoney.   I heard the same thing about the photographer needing to stay a 3 night min- I decided to just go with Blue lens.  In regards to the rates- yes they have gone up. I had my travel agent blook rooms at the group rate last week so we are good to go..I am getting married in May which is different prices than Feb- The DJ we are worrking with is J&S Productions- seems pretty good.  Let me point out that the music (even in the lobby areas) is all in english.  They have a team set up to control music in the entire resort, from the lounges to the lobby areas.  The hotel prides itself with the music as they want to come off very modern Nyc chic- The resort does an incredible job with music- Even the DJ at the gabi club was awesome. I am from NJ so we are super picky about music.  I dont think they would work with a DJ that isnt top notch. 
    Thanks for the beach advice! Put me at ease! We went with blue lens too...make it easy and they have some great work! How exciting, 60-80 people! That's awesome your going to have a wonderful time! Can't wait to see this place!
