Hi Ladies! I am getting very close, we leave on 5/21 for our wedding on 5/25!! I have to admit I am getting very frustrated with Roxy as a wedding planner. I can't seem to get many answers out of her and she is out of the office a lot. I feel so ill-prepared to go there and I'm getting a little anxious. We are doing a 3pm wedding with a 1 hour cocktail hour and 2 hour reception. I'd like to start the cocktail hour at 5pm and do the dinner directly after at 6-8. This is one thing I can't get an answer on is what time I can plan for things to happen. We are doing the calypso band for the cocktail hour and then we are going to play our own music through dinner. I've heard that they charge you $150/hr to use their ipod dock. Does anyone know anything about that? Also, we are bringing mason jars with flowers for centerpieces and also name cards for seating and I've heard they are going to charge me at least $250 for "liability" reasons. That is outrageous! Has anyone heard that one? All of these things aside, we are SOO excited!!
