    We stayed in the bungalow 3052 right in front of the private beach. Don't worry about how close anything is. They have golf carts that pick you up when you dial 0 and ask for the bell desk. They come right to your door if you step outside and take you anywhere. If u need a ride from lobby to your room they will do that too. We didn't walk anywhere. Lol. Your guests can do the same if they are far but if they are close to lobby then they will need to walk of course.

    Wow sounds like you ladies had a blast.Well I will be leaving on Thursday of THIS WEEK and getting married on saturday!!. im so excited I cant stand it!!!! Glad you shared your experiences and pictures. I will update new brides when i get back as well.

    I am doing sky lanterns as well.. I saw a few brides pics that had their wedding at GP and they had the lanterns on the beach.

    Hi All!! One thing I did is to ask the wedding dept to email your full wedding contract to you. (Once closer to your date). It broke down all the fees, payments, services, reception info, how many guests and the charge for additional guests over 8 (children under 12 are free) as well as any decorations, flowers, bouteineers , corsages etc.. It really helped me to make sure things were in order and to make sure you are not over charged .. Hope this helps:) I have less than a month to go !!! I cant wait!!

    Futuremrsg and all other brides I emailed the wedding dept manager Erika and she responded in writing there is no fee for true colors photography for the GP. It's better to ask the resort then the photographers because they may be trying to get over . Good luck

    That is not true. I have emailed the resort wedding coordinator and manager to clarify. I have booked true colors as well and I read that there is no fee for using in house photographer.

    If you dont mid me asking @Chelsea Wolfe, what package did you get with true colors? I booked them and they seem like it is cut and dry with the timeframe and pricing. I hope the do go around and take extra pics, was that in your package and did u have to pay extra for that? Is there a studio on the property to review photos? Im sorry so many questions. Im about a month away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    No problem. WEll to save money and not to waste decorations. Im going to have them bring the flowers over from the wedding site to the receptions table. They do this all the time Im told.

    Yes Mrs P 2 be, im not doing private reception either, our budget is tight as well. if you have under 30 people at the reception they can eat all inclusive (free). So i got my reception to right under 30. You should be hearing from the WC within 2 months of the wedding but I had to call and ask who I was assigned to. My tip would be save your emails and get written confirmation for everything just in case. Congrats I am so excited for you and me.. This time flew, I have been planning since last January

    Hi Lene 112 the flavors of the cake are vanilla, chocolate or jamaican fruit cake I was told by a wedding coordinator. I will be getting vanilla to stay on safe side. And it is according to how many guests you have. I also asked for them to serve the cake at my reception instead of their desserts and they said they will accommodate that. I have more than 8 guests and was told they will make a cake according to how many guests hence the extra fee of 20.00 per person over 8 people (excluding kids). Hope this helps

    Hi happyfamily, Our wedding is in March 23 2013. I do have the menu for the Poseidon (where our reception is) . In one email she told me 1 entree but in another she said 2 entrees I could choose from. I want to take the dessert off and have my wedding cake served at the restaurant rather than at the ceremony. Is the salad a salad bar ? is it soup or salad or appetizer? Who is your WC? Any info would be great.

    Hi Jenn, I am at the GP Jamaica Lady Hamilton. I have ben pretty much happy so far except they are very slow with follow up. I had to call and ask who my wedding was assigned to (they assign a WC 2 months prior to wedding). Anyway, I just sent her(Nekeisha) an email to get the details ironed out. I am a bit nervous because of the unresponsiveness. I can remember when I just started this Ja 2012, time FLIES by so you will be in my place in no time. Punta Cana is very nice I have heard, Im sure you will be happy.

    It seems as though the Wedding department is very busy. I have sent several emails with questions about the menu. I even had to ask who my coordinator was and they were like oh its Nakeisha. So I sent her an email today so hopefully we can get these things ironed out soon.

    Hi everyone I am a Grand Palladium Bride 2013!!!!!!!! I have been planning since last year and its FINALLY here. My date is March 23, 2013. Does anyone have any advice? I hope everything goes well. How are the makeup and Hair services? Congrats to all my fellow 2013 brides!!!!!!!
