We didn't chose the 50 because we were leaving the next morning to move to the honeymoon resort. They were willing to set up an appointment so that we could pick the pictures we wanted. We just chose not to. You should have the option to purchase more. In my opinion, the outside photographer was worth it. The resort photographers sample photos just didn't sweep me off my feet. We used Button Up photography. Www.buttonupmx.com Hideki was great. He spent nine hours with us and took countless photos. I can't wait to see the final product. He was also reasonably priced!

I hired an outside photographer and asked if I could swap the resort photographer out for something else. I wasn't able to do that, but they told me I could use the resort photographer for the rehersal, or welcome dinner or cocktail hour. So while my husband and I were off with the hired photographer, the resort photographer took pictures during the cocktail hour. He took more than 50, but then gave us a disc with just 50 on it. I think it is fine to use them for the trash the dress.

I just returned from our wedding/honeymoon and was very pleased! I will provide a more detailed review later this week, but I can honeslty say I am happy with my selection. My husband (that sounds weird) and I only had one complaint regarding the ceremony/reception. The minister... we did the symbolic ceremony and I provided a specific 'script' at our meeting with the wedding planner on Thursday. I don't think the minister read it before hand as he stumbled through many parts. He was also VERY hard to understand. Overall, it was fine, and if that is the only thing that went wrong I feel pretty lucky!

Hi everyone! My wedding is quickly approaching (May 25th) and I am starting to go into panic mode! Has anyone had any luck scheduling their meeting with the WC? They have told me it won't be scheduled until I get there, but I have other activities I am trying to work around. Also, we are having the symbolic ceremony....do we get to meet with the officiant prior to the ceremony?

Some of you may already know this, but wanted to share just in case.....my BFF got married in Mexico last year and I probably wouldn't have thought of it on my own. I am going with the ultimate wedding package which comes with 3 flower arrangements for the beach canopy. After the ceremony, we will take them off the canopy and lay them on the reception tables as centerpieces. It worked perfectly for my BFF's wedding and will help save some $$ on centerpieces. I checked with the WC to make sure it was ok and she said yes.

Me too! Is it sad that I wanted to cancel our dinner plans with friends tonight so that I could sit and home and go through all of the forms??? We are still going to dinner but I can't wait to get home and get started!

Has anyone been able to set up their appointment with the coordinator before leaving? She told me I couldn't schedule it until I arrive. I'm trying to get several other activities planned out so I'm worried about not knowing that time.

Hi Taegan - quick question regarding the decorations that you brought. How/when did you get them back? Did you have to take everything down yourself or did they do it and get it back to you? Were you able to go on and do your own thing after the reception, or were you left having to gather up your decorations?
