First of all... What's a pork rind?
And second of all - I know - MEN... Drive me nuts, my FI is the same... He has completely lost his beer belly in no time flat.... We go to the gym together... he even takes more break days then I do... and gobbles down huge bricks of cheese at 10pm - It just keeps falling off of him... Me on the other hand.... I fight for every little morsel of weight loss... Anyways good place to vent!! haha
Allie - Congrats!! 13 lbs is awesome!!

I am looking to order those sunglasses that look like raybans but in 3 different colours (red, blue and yellow). Reason being this is the way to distinguish people's menu options at the reception table but also acts as their wedding favour. I also would like to get them personalized with our names and wedding date on one side. I will probably need about 40-50 of them for the wedding since that's about how many guests I expect to have coming.
Here is a picture of what I am looking for just in case:
Does anyone know where in Ontario or Canada in general I can make an order like this? Please let me know if you can help out!
Thanks.
Hey, I just bought sunglasses for my guests as well.... It took me a VERY long time to find what I wanted and I ended up buying them online from US and having them shipped... Which yes, was expensive - I bought 60 pairs - in assorted bright colours - Was $124 - plus $60 on delivery. So, $3 each... I guess not sooooo bad.... They are nice glasses though.

The next place I had some luck. I actually found 2 dresses I really liked. I was grinning like an idiot in both of them, but absolutely "cooing" in one of them... the more expensive of course.
Of course, it is different than what I would have picked.
It was a clearance dress (the cooing one), so the last one... no ordering in. We put a hold on it for a week. It was more than $900... the 2nd runner up was a little over $400. So now I am wondering. I love the dress... but I was wanting some opinions. Maybe to reconfirm the one I love? Get a general opinion?
So I am going to post both here, not saying which is which. Would LOVE opinions, ladies! Okay, so you cannot see it great in this cell-phone picture, but the first one has a little sparkle... the second one is slightly more flowy, but I think both have a little structure, but are still good for the beach. (FI requested, "no curtains".) Thoughts?
FIRST ONE!!! Looks gorgeous on you!! VERY flattering in all the right places!! Without a doubt!! Make sure you tell us which one you were leaning towards....

Sorry, but about the plastic beads again - I see that the examples of comparison have been taken down between plastic and glass... I was told that the pearls are the only thing they do in plastic... I'm wondering if I should just nix them? The glass definitely looked more luxurious!

I think that your writing is very clear - they will definitely get the gist of it... Strange how it fits that Mannequin - Cause a size 12 is all about the curves!! (in a good way!)
-
I'm totally wondering the same thing... I'm in mid-production right now - they haven't started the beading... I definitely want the more beautiful crystal beads, I wonder if I should just make that clear to them now... Save the plastic for the flower girls!! haha

We are doing shot glasses - which is a bit of a logistics nightmare - considering how heavy they are going to be... Haven't quite sorted that part out yet!!

@Tink - LOVE the dress! Can't wait to see you in it!

Welcome RFFL! And good luck with April - It seems to be a busy time in Dominican! Congratulations!

Wow Mayrose! Thanks for sharing with us!! Your colours are amazing!! And you look stunning!! Beautiful wedding... Even if it wasn't exactly how you planned - it was gorgeous! Lots of guests too!! How did you get Castaways?? Was that because of the weather or had you planned it?

@Rawalter - Gorgeous!! That dress fits you PERFECTLY!! Very lovely!

I know this has been mentioned before, but without a garment bag from Jasmine's - how is it delivered? Would you suggest ordering the garment bag? Is it good for traveling? Hide the dress? Thanks!

1. The sweetheart neckline is more rounded in yours
2. The ruching is a little more prominent in yours (i.e left bust)
3. Will you be wearing an underskirt? This may make the bottom a little more full
4. The corset back seems a little short (this is more of a practical issue). Are they putting in a zipper also?
Wow, Thank you SOOOO much for your help - You have NO IDEA!! I totally see what you are saying... Do you think at this point they can adjust the neckline? I don't really understand about the rouching... like it stands out more?
I think they mentioned an underskirt... Didn't really think about that - so, yeah that would make it sit much nicer...
In the photos off of the Maggie Soterro website, the dress had only a half corset, with a zipper... I just told them to make it the same. I want to have skin under the lace, but didn't want my butt showing! haha
Thanks for taking the time to help out a fellow bride! Really appreciate it!

THANKS FOR THE HELP LADIES!!! I'm lady-less at the moment living abroad... This is VERY helpful!

Maybe the front isn't hanging quite straight at the bottom? The lace looks a bit uneven at the bottom back? Is there a difference in the colour at the back?(Maybe it just needs an underlay?) Will it come in more at the knee when I have it on?? I haven't even tried this dress before - or any dress really!!

Has anyone from Canada mailed things to the resort?? Was it expensive?

@Mrsnova Love your dress!! Looks great on you - will be nice and light!
And @ Amers - Your dress is also gorgeous - and I think Lilac and turquoise are brilliant together...

That's great advice about getting them a room for cheaper - never really thought about that... And then yes, I think you half to pay for their dinner on top of that, I asked that somewhere else and got the answer yes..... Nuts!
Thanks for the info about the spa too... I will add it to the website!! Awesome!
