Hi all, This question is for past brides..... I'm getting married at the end of this month. I'm trying to figure out how to style my hair, but I'm not sure about the weather conditions, i.e. humidity. I have the type of hair that WILL frizz if there is humidity. I would opt for more of a "down" do, but I'm worried about frizz. Anyone have any ideas about this? Do they style your hair to resist the humidity? I'm getting hair and makeup done at the resort. Thanks for your help!

Jessimd - how exciting! I have a few more days than you, but can definitely relate. I haven't done it yet, so I don't have any do's or don'ts to share, but what I will say is that it seems like the process is pretty painless! I have only heard positive things about the beaches wedding, so relax and enjoy the excitement! Don't worry about a thing!

Hi Danielle, I'm Yanira, nice talking to you too! So exciting to meet someone on here that will actually be getting married around the same time. I am not officially using Beaches Photography, but I may just use them for a few prints of the actual ceremony. To be honest, I don't personally care for the photo's that they take. Simply because I'm in the business, and I know for a fact that their equipment is not the best, or their technique. I have seen some images that have blatant photography no-no's, and frankly they charge just as much as a high-end photographer. Something that I personally do not think is right..... but, I will say that if money weren't an object, I would go with a package from them and then do the other photographs with TI. Or better yet, just pay the ridiculous fees to have TI do it all.... But being that I can't..... I just opted to have my photo's done off premises with TI. I will say that there are some brides on here that have used Beaches and were happy with the pictures, I just haven't encountered anyone who was blown away, which is always the case of brides that use TI. I have yet to hear a negative review on them.

Jill I just saw your TI pictures and they are stunning! Beautiful. I can't wait to do it myself. So excited. Beach bride 0519 - As for the hair and makeup, the bridal bliss package is $280, and it includes all the items Jill listed plus mani/pedi. Not sure if you want that also. If you don't want the mani/pedi than paying separately is probably the way to go.

Hi Melissa43 - I'm doing the same exact thing as you with my 9 year old son! I was wondering if you had any additional advise/information. I am having a hard time deciding between having the wedding shot by the beaches photographer vs TI. On one hand I love the pictures by TI, but on the other, I can't afford to do both and with no one really there to take pictures I'm worried about not having any photos of the actual ceremony. Do you know if Beaches lets you purchase single pictures instead of a package? To all Beaches May/June brides, I noticed there are a few on here, is anyone getting Married on or around May 31st? Anyone else eloping alone? I know there was a lady inquiring about help with video taping, but the dates don't match up. If there are others out there needing this help, perhaps we can help each other out? Let me know. Thanks!
