Hi Ladies, Thank you so much to all the brides sharing their information! It's very helpful I've been reading the posts for awhile and don't have much to add yet. My wedding is at BP in April 2013 and I have about 100 guests. I was referred to my current TA and she told me to wait until a little after a year to get rates for room and flight blocks. I followed up with her in May to work on getting everything together and I still don't have any information! I'm considering getting a new travel agent. Can anyone make any good recommendations? Also, to all the brides getting married around the same time (March/April/May 2013) do you have your room blocks/rate information yet? I'm starting to get a little nervous :/

Hi Jenni, It's definitely helpful and reassuring to be able to talk to other brides about the Beach Palace. I've only heard good things about the weddings, service, etc. The communication at first has been very frustrating. I spoke to numerous people in the Miami office. Now I'm only speaking with Janessa. Once I filled out the paper to set the date/deposit, she has been very responsive which makes me feel better It's very difficult to work over email because I don't want to be confrontationl or come off as a b****, but I just told her that the Sky Terrace was the reason I chose BP and I'd feel very uncomfortable making a deposit when the location is not guaranteed and is there anything she can do...

Hi Jenni! I will be seeing you in 2013! I'm getting married at the BP April 20th, 2013. I'v read numerous different stories about everything working out fine and then some not so good ones where spaces were already booked. I chose the BP specifically for the Sky Terrace. I got the same response as you from our coordinator in Miami. I told them I wasn't going to pay the deposit until they could confirm the locations I wanted and 2 days later I received an email confirmation. I feel that the coordinators are a little all over the place and the only way to get things done and answered is being very direct and firm. Hope this helps!

Hi All, I'm new to Best Destination Wedding and this is my first post! After all my research I've decided on the Beach Palace for our DW. I'm in the process of talking with them to book the date in April 2013. I'm supposed to pay half of the ceremony fee to reserve our date/time, but they're telling me that they can't reserve the location until 3 months before the wedding. Isn't that the whole reason for a deposit?? I picked the Beach Palace for the Sky Terrace location on the property! Have any other brides had any issues with this or is that their standard policy and everything works out fine??
