  2. I just did one survival kit per room. I have 20 rooms as of now and a few that are still saying they are going to book. We leave in 33 days! People are crazy! Anyway, I am bringing enough of everything to have 25 welcome bags. If there ends up being more than that, they won't get a bag and I won't feel bad about it. Darn! I ordered mine from there too!! Were they really bad?

I found my chair sashes at tablelinensdirect.com. They are the tiffany blue/aqua organza sashes.

They are the tiffany blue/aqua organza sash. I'm not sure if they will work for you, but they were a perfect match for my aqua color. I can email you a picture of the actual color if you would like!   6. I can't believe I just found this thread! I am getting married on June 1st! I THINK that I have most of the main things finished, but I still have a few items left on the to do list. Here is what is finished so far: -I have had my 2nd dress alteration and will pick it up in a couple weeks -Fiance's suit is purchased, but not altered (khaki linen suit) -All OOT bag items (survival kits, insulated mugs, decks of cards, door hangers, gum) have been purchased except snacks (I don't want them to get stale) -All centerpiece items and chair sashes have been purchased. i am renting glass vases from the resort and bringing aqua stones, fake orchids, floating candles to put inside. The vases will sit on brown "fishing net" scattered with seashells that I am also bringing. -All guests are booked/rooms are paid -Wedding bands have been purchased and picked up -Bridesmaid/Groomsmen outfits purchased (coral sundresses and aqua linen shirts with khakis) -Bridesmaid/Groomsmen gifts purchased (embroidered beach towels and beach bags, engraved buck knives) -Parent Gifts purchased (picture frames from etsy) -Guest book purchased (coffee table book of Jamaica) -Hostess gifts purchased (custom embroidered wine bags from etsy) -Customs thank you notes purchased -Marriage license info sent to resort -STD and Invitations mailed One of the things left on my list is music. Are you girls using a DJ? If so, are you giving them a list of every song to play or just telling them what kind of music you like and letting them choose songs? Also, I still haven't made programs. Do any of you girls have template for a simple program? I am not trying to put a bunch of notes and information on them, I just want a list of the wedding party/minister/music. Thanks!! Madison

    I am actually doing the Basic Package (1,500). I originally thought that the free package didn't include a wedding coordinator (I'm still not sure if it does) and that is why I didn't choose that one. I didn't think I would use all of the extra stuff they put in the 3,000 package. They only things I want to add that aren't in my package, but are in the 3,000 package are wedding dress pressing and hair. Which package are you using? I contacted Tia Flora and told them I was getting married at the Grand and that I wanted to discuss the flowers included in my package plus extra flowers for bridesmaids/groomsmen. They sent me a questionnaire to fill out and some examples of bouquets they can make that are included in the package. I sent it back and they sent me a quote that detailed the price and what flowers they would use for the bouquets. (I told them my colors were coral and aqua and they were able to customize the bouquets to match)

    That is great information!! I am super excited to hear that the up lighting is included with the DJ! I have been copying Iberostar on all of my emails to Tia Flora and they have been very quick to respond. I would definitely recommend that.

She said the following: Am I able to make changes to my selections after I have submitted the wedding details form?Yes you can make changes the details.

    We are getting married at the Grand on June 1, 2013. We are using the basic legal package. I emailed the resort with questions and I thought I would post the answers here in case they could help someone else. My questions are in black and red, her responses are in blue and green. 1. What decorations are included with my package? For example, what chairs do you use for the ceremony? See attached a photo of chair us for weddings What flowers are included for the ceremony? Tropical and Roses Do the chairs have covers? Yes 2. Does the Port Maria rental price (ex. 3,000 for 50-75 people) include alcohol? $3000usd for 30-50 guest and is inclusive of alcohol If not, what is the extra charge? Are there any decorations included in the rental?Table and chair with white linen 3. If we decide to have a la carte instead of the buffet at Port Maria, will the charge be only 70/per person or is it 70/per person in addition to the 3,000?$70usd only 4. What does the extra 20/per person pay for?It’s a service charge for additional guestAs I understand, my wedding package does not include cake or champagne.No 5. Is it possible to extend the Port Maria rental an extra hour (from 7:00-11:00)? What would the extra charge be?$250usd in cash for the staff, and $12usd per person for the bar and additional charge for your entertainment. 6. Can we add a cake to our package? No they will take a lot but you will only get the 50 you are paying for . 9. Is the bonfire a one time charge of $500 or is that a per hour charge? Per hour 10. If we want one of our guests to officiate the ceremony, will there be an additional charge? No but our minister will have to be there as well if you are having a legal ceremony. What if our guest is ordained as a minister in the U.S.? once it is a legal wedding the local minister will have to be there to say a few words and sign the legal document Also, I received a form (Wedding Details BASIC PACKAGE) (attached) from her this week that has different prices than she quoted in these answers.     Cat, Did you bring your own chair ties for the ceremony or are those colors available at the resort? Also, did you use the arch and flowers included in the package or are those extra? Thanks for all your help!
