Hi Leigha, I'm in the exact same boat as you are! Planning a February 2014 wedding in the riviera maya and i'm so confused as to which hotels would be the best. And with it being so far out, pricing won't be coming until this time next year. I know some hotels don't have that beautiful blue water and that's a little bit of a factor in my decision. 1 hotel that I am considering is the Azul Sensatori because it has a great kid's club but it's a gourmet inclusive and doesn't seem to have a buffet. I've heard of brides going down for a go see where they check out a couple different hotels before they decide. I would love to do that, but not sure how. lol

Hi girls, I'm from Manitoba getting married in February of 2014. Yep, I know it's soooo far off. lol I'm looking in the mayan riviera and the Azul Sensatori has looked the best to me so far. What kind of prices are you girls getting so far. Seems like anywhere from 1700 to 2000??

Thanks missmely! That is exactly the kind of thing that helps me out. I'm a photographer so I know how important photography and videography are to me and that's definitely an area that I will be splurging on. We're plannning for around 50 guests and I plan to do a lot of DIY stuff thanks to the amazing ideas all of you guys have given me.

Hey everyone, I have literally read hundreds of pages of posts on this thread and love all the ideas! I'm leaning towards the Azul Sensatori as I love the kids area and all the wonderful things everyone has to say about the hotel. We will have a lot of kiddos coming and we have two of our own so the kid's area is a huge bonus! Just wondering for past brides what your final costs looked like and what your totals were for having a wedding there. In all the posts I've read nobody has really commented on how much they actually spent total on their wedding. This would be so helpful for me to budget and start planning. Although my wedding isn't going to be until February of 2014!! Yep, get used to me on here, ladies. lol I'm also interested in the weather from all of you February brides and if it was windy etc, what the night temps are like.
