  1. Can anyone tell me if the pool deck & the pool terrace are the same thing? Want to book pool deck for recept & my WC says it is the pool terrace? How far in advance do you need to reserve your DJ or photographer? Hope someone can answer this for me:(
  2. Hi Ariane You said the preferred club rooms are better with the ocean view? Did you book that at the beginning or were you upgraded when you arrived, being the bride & groom? What is the extra cost for our guest to book them & can a person upgrade when you arrive??? Thank you for answering all our questions! Your slide show & music is amazing!

Did you take your own chair bows & the table covers for the reception? We are planning our ceremony at the gazebo & recept at the pool deck. You mention the cocktail hour at the jacuzzi? How was that ? Did you have a buffet for the supper? (sorry so many questions) Thanks for sharing!!!!

  8. Hi Just in response to your price from Vancouver in may, 2300? Mine is in February and we were told that is high season and our price is 2100 all taxes included and still hoping for our number of rooms discount. Out TA said later travel was cheaper but we wanted February regardless. We are flying from Alberta.
  9. Consider yourselves very lucky if you are flying from the US to the Dreams, as we are all coming from Canada in February 2013 & will be looking at around $2100. Per person all taxes included for 7 nights all inclusive. We are hoping for a bit of a discount once all our guests have put down their deposits & we know the true numbers, then we can use the 6 rooms booked discount. What is the date of your wedding?
  10. Hi Just wondering how it was for wind having the reception outside? I really want to take advantage of the outdoors but dont want people to be upset if it's too windy? I see you mentioned something about the candles? Is the Carribean buffet part of the package?
  11. Beautiful wedding, congrats!!! Now for the questions? At the ceremony I noticed you had white chair covers, we're they in the package or did you provide them? Can you decorate the gazebo as well? Was your reception on the pool deck? Was the wind a problem(my concern)? As it was held outside does that mean you have Buffett? Did you go with a DJ for the reception? Would you have done it any different now that it is over? It looked amazing! Thank-you for any info you can provide

  13. Yes, that would be great info! I am using the gazebo and am also wondering what all to bring? Thinking of bringing chair covers, sashes, table runners and not sure what all else? What will I need for the gazebo? It is so nice to have this forum, so helpful! Thank-you to all.

Our wedding is planned for February 2013 and lots of things to to decide on. did you take your own decorations? Any info you have to give would be greatly appreciated!   15. Where did you have your reception, outside or in and if outside was it too windy? I keep hearing this comment. How long are you allowed for the dance with the DJ? would love to see some pictures, they always tell the true story of how nice things were.

  19. From what I have read the DJ is the way to go. I am just getting started on all the planning and have lots to think about. Are you having a legal ceremony and do you know the number of days for sure you have to be in Mexico to be married legally? We arrive on the Saturday and plan for the Wednesday as the Thursday is booked already. I hope this will be ok as we all leave on the following Saturday and do not want to wait til the Friday to marry. Good luck with all the planning and hope to hear about things as you go along!
  20. So does anyone who has been married or knows about the DRC reception agenda, can answer questions on the better location (pool deck or pool terrace) which is better to hold for 30 - 35 guests?
  21. Ok I see I am really new at this, tried to post a reply on someones page? it did not work?? Have lots of questions about the location of the reception - pool deck or terrace?? anyone with suggestions or pictures would be great! Ceremony time 4pm or 3pm? which is better for pictures and for time until reception starts? i have read a few people having problems with the lenght of time you are allowed for the reception/dance?? Any info on this would really be appreciated!
