Hi Ladies! I'm new to this thread and haven't officially booked yet but am hoping to! We are hoping to get married January 12, 2013...Matye is holding the date for me for now....My fiances mother owns a travel agency and actually got us a crazy deal through Sunwing...we paid $400 each all taxes included to go to Punta Cana for 4 nights 5 days the first week of June...got to choose which resort we want to stay at and they take us to a few different resorts so we can see where we want to have our wedding..and if you book with sunwing for your wedding trip they credit you the money back...so basically its free as long as you book with Sunwing (and have about 30 ppl going to your wedding).  I never thought I would be able to preview resorts before booking and this is like a dream compe true! So if any of you can get the time off check with Sunwing if they still have spots available!! We are going to meet with Mayte and have dinner one night at Jellyfish so if you have any questions send them my way and I'll be sure to check it out for you!!

I know that you can put a deposit down to hold your wedding date etc but I'm reluctant to do that not knowing flight schedules or pricing...I'm nervous to book and then find out that its gonna cost my guests $1800/person..don't want to lose a deposit so I guess I'll be waiting!

Peach I am in the same boat! I don't know how everyone on here has their dates & resorts booked already..I am from Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada and we are going to be getting married (hopefully at Dreams La Romana) in February but our travel agent has called everyone to try to get pricing for next year but can't yet..she says ill have to wait a few more months...anyone have thoughts on that?

How are you all able to book so far in advance?? I am looking to book for next January/February but can't until about 8 months before......

Hello all! I'm new to the forum (just got engaged 2 weeks ago) and as my fiance is 1/2 Dominican we are going to go to La Romana and hopefully Dreams! They have an extensive list on the website on the wedding costs but I can't find any info on how much it is to actually stay there...Are there any brides out there who got married at Dreams in January or beginning of February of this year that flew from Toronto that could tell me what the all inclusive price was per person at that time?? I don't want to get too excited about doing it here if its over our guests budget....thanks!!
