  1. @katman- I haven't done a TTD with my dress (yet) but I did photograph one in Aruba and it was AWESOME. In terms of what to do about hair and make-up, have you thought about doing your TTD the morning of the day before your wedding? The bride I shot didn't do anything with make-up/elaborate hair because we were going into the ocean and it all would have come out anyways, but she did wear false eyelashes which made a huge difference. If you have a pair of falsies with you, definitely wear them! But I'd stay away from make-up because it'll just run when you get wet. And if you do the TTD the day before your wedding (with an inexpensive "extra" dress, that is!) then you don't have to worry about getting up early the day after your wedding! PS- sunrise trash the dress sessions are SO AWESOME. If you can cajole your photographer into doing it, definitely go for it! Hope that helps!
  2. Hey girl! I didn't have a wedding at Sandals but the hubs and I took our honeymoon at the one in St. Lucia, and as a wedding photographer myself watching others get married at the resort, I STRONGLY suggest you bring in your own photographer. The photogs they have on site are alright, but if you want your wedding documented in a way that it deserves, DEFINITELY think about bringing your own vendor. They have photographers wandering around the resort at all times, taking photos of all the couples vacationing and such. You can choose to purchase the images if you want but I really wasn't impressed with anything I saw. Just my two cents of advice! I hope that helps!
