I've been frustrated with some of the changes that Las Caletas has made too. I feel like they have not honored our original contract, and I'm still waiting to hear if they'll stick to aspects of the original contract....and my ceremony is two weeks from today! Like you, I booked just about a year ago with Kelley, I am using my own photographer, and I informed Annie of this mid-March. I was only charged the $50. I'm not sure if there is a reason why this new fee is not being applied uniformly, but it sure seems like you have reason to argue this one! -
It isn't right, and I've had to debate a few of their current changes because the changes do not honor my original contract. I've also been booked for just about a year, and I'm getting married two weeks from today. I'm also using my own photographer, and Annie is my coordinator. Like you, I informed her of my photographer sometime in March and I'm only being charged the $50. Not sure if there is a reason this charge is not being applied uniformly, but it seems like you have major reason to debate this charge!

I'm so grateful for the shared information here! Especially given that my coordinator, Annie, has been non-responsive... Anyway, I'm getting married in May and I know it's going to be very warm. I was wanting to have a few small fresh flowers in my hair, but considering the heat in May and the feedback from recent brides that some of the flowers have been less than fresh, I'm now wondering if flowers for my hair is even a good idea. Have any other brides used fresh flowers?

Would any past brides be able to provide any information about what kinds of flowers LC considers 'exotic' rather than traditional or tropical?
