  1. I definitely plan to wed on the beach - simple, no arch or anything. The video was beautiful, just how I would want it. So I'm thinking of doing a 2 hour cocktail/hors devoures party, let people go eat where they choose (though I'll let them know what restaurant we're going to) and then later meet at the piano bar. Although, watching the video with dancing on the beach looked like a lot of fun. Would you recommend paying so much extra at an all inclusive for the private beach dinner and DJ? I'm really stuck. We have super fun family and friends. Many say we should just take over a restaurant early and then continue to the piano bar... I'm stuck. I'll definitely do the rehearsal dinner and let people decide if they want to come... though most will. Thanks for the input! Ugh! I'm in my 40's and now I know why I've never married - too many decisions.
  2. @jamaicabride11 Congratulations! I'm looking at the same number of people. I have a few questions: Did all your people fit well on the beach? Was the Arch rustic? What is Trash the Dress? Did you do a private rehearsal dinner and a dinner reception after the wedding? If yes, was that too many planned dinners for guests at an all inclusive? Are there any great group activities you did? What fun items did you put in the guests bags? Thank you!
  3. @CBrewster (or anyone that married at Sandals Negril). First, CONGRATULATIONS! I have 20 rooms (40 people) reserved with the Beautiful Beginnings wedding. I get a rehearsal dinner and a 30 min cocktail/hors devours after the wedding. If I want a dinner reception after the wedding, they want to charge $60/per person, which seems ridiculous since all I want is for the wedding guests to sit together (at an all inclusive, a set up fee seems more appropriate). Did you extend your cocktail hour and what did they charge you? Did you have a dinner reception? Was the beach wedding large enough for 40+ guests? One post in this site said no - but Sandals says yes. Is there anything special the group should do at the resort? What are some fun items you put in the bags? Looking forward to hearing from all you beautiful brides! Thank you.
