  1. Congratulations first of all! I probably asked Francelia every question there was in the book so feel free to directly email me with yours at [email protected]. My biggest word of advice and I know its the last thing you want to think about is discuss a rain plan. We hadn't really spoken of it to much a head of time and that was where the only hiccups of my day occurred. Even though it was a rainy day I still got married bare foot on the beach, which was my dream come true. Also just be patient with Francelia. Sometimes when you don't hear right away you start to question how on the ball she is. Believe me when you arrive she will have your entire folder organized and be aware of all those special requests you've made. One thing I can tell you...your guests will be on cloud nine at this resort. It was positively stunning and people are still raving about the venue.
  2. I have a boatload of pictures from my May 2, 2012 wedding at the Bavaro Princess. I've also just posted a review and I'm sure it will be approved soon. Here are a couple pics. We clearly had the beach ceremony, but a wedding gazebo is available. If you provide your email i'd be happy to send you a bunch. It did rain on my wedding day, but it was still gorgeous and the Bavaro Princess was absolutely stunning.
  3. My husband and I just got married at the Bavaro Princess on May 2, 2012 and had a magnificent experience. We had to use the on site photographer 'photoshop caribe' and we couldn't be happier. It rained on our wedding day and although we were able to proceed with our outdoor ceremony it poured right after. We decided to continue pics the following day and they were very accommodating. We have consistently gotten compliments and are very pleased that we used them. They were included in our wedding package, but we did upgrade and paid $500 additional and every penny was worth it.
  4. Just wondering for anyone that got married legally with a civil union...Did you have to have your passports translated or a copy of your passport translated to spanish?
  5. @loveisaparadise Congrats on your wedding. I'm getting married here on May 2nd...any info/advice/pics thoughts etc would be greatly appreciated.
  6. I'm getting married on May 2nd 2012 in Punta Cana and found out about La Barcaza a little to late. I messaged Fiori and they are booked for my wedding date. Are there any other companies that are similar and do this service? I was satisfied before I learned about it, but now that i've seen it I would have loved to do the reception onboard.
