  1. Hello Ladies!!! Its been almost 2 months since I got married at the Gran Bahia Principe & it was amazing. I don't have the time or energy right now to write up a review but I did want to show you that I have an album on my page with some of the wedding pics. It was absolutely beautiful and everything went great. The wedding planners were helpful & so was everyone else. I hired my photographer based out of Negril and he was AMAZING. Looking at the pics you will for sure see that =) I promise I will write something up sometime soon, the only advice I can give right now is DO NOT STRESS!!! You are planning a destination wedding for a reason, you will get there and plan everything at that time. It really is so simple and stress free, as long as you treat it that way. TTYL!! <3 Mrs. Raborg
  2. It seems as if the ones I got done at the salon would have stayed on FOREVER. In the two days I had them on I was in the pool, snorkeling, and in the Jamaican sun.
  3. From experience, if you plan to do eyelash extensions DEF TRY THEM OUT BEFORE you get them done for the wedding. I got them done (for the first time ever) on Tuesday and left for my destination wedding on Friday. I HATED them but they were already glued on and I didnt have time to get them removed that day. I thought they looked to fake for me and they felt soooo weird. I just couldnt get used to them and really wish I would have tested it out before that. I ended up giving them a chance Wednesday but had decided on Thursday (the night before the wedding) to take them off. Thank goodness I bought eyelash remover solution the night I got them done just in case, but even with the solution it was SO painful to get them off! OMG my poor eyes were in pain and swollen, but thankfully they were fine for our wedding the next day. I am not saying dont get them done because I do feel like if you get them done right then can look beautiful. BUT what I can not stress enough is to DEF DEF DEF try them out a few months before the wedding. Hope that helps ladies!! =)
  4. Hi ladies, just wondering if anyone rented the disco for their reception? Or if anyone knows if there is a bar at the disco? I am thinking of doing this for after dinner but would like to know if I would have to worry about drinks? Thanks so much! =)
  5. I think thats great advice JayKay .. thanks so much! I have a feeling they will tell me I need to def have the minimum amount of ppl. So I guess now I need to figure out what to do about our dinner/reception. I dont mind doing the free dinner, but I really wanted to have everything (dinner and dance) at the same place so we could do everything the way we wanted to. Looks like I have some figuring out to do.
  6. Thanks Erin! Gotta question ... when you got there tho, and met with them .. how did they go about the details of hyw many people you had? I was worried about not having the minimum amount of people they said is needed for the Piscis, but I dont see how they are really going to know this anyway .. what are your thoughts about it?
  7. Thats exactly what I was thinking Kim. I agree that they misunderstand things a lot .. which is why we better save any and all emails. But yeah, thanks a lot for letting me know when you do =)
