Hola. I just got married at Velas Vallarta on July 1. It was beautiful and everything that I ever dreamed of. I would recommend them but Ihave to be honest in saying that the reason why my wedding was beautiful was bc I hired chicconcepts. Tamara and Patty are wonderful to work with and care about every little detail of your wedding, It is scary to try and plan a wedding so far away but Tamara and Patty made it stress free and AMAZING!! They coordinated our flowers, centerpieces, DJ, Mariachi etc. They are super professional and so caring. Tamara was even our officiant for our ceremony. They also stayed from beginning to end to make sure everything was perfect. I love Velas bc the staff there is soooo accomodating. I was a little disappointed with them in the beginning bc I dealt with 3-4 different Velas coordinators. They were going through some changes at that time. My only suggestion is that if you book with them just make sure to carefully read your contract. If you don't book with them I HIGHLY recommend chicconcepts. If you are also looking for a photographer I would also HIGHLY recommend MACMEX photography. Dan and Joel take the most breath taking pics. I posted some pics, so you can see some of their work. I recently got married in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on Friday, July 1 2011. Our wedding took place at the Velas Vallarta Resort. With the help of Chic Concepts we had the wedding of our dreams. Tamara and Patty are professional and cared about every single little detail of our wedding.Being thousands of miles away and not being able to communicate with the florist, DJ, mariachi band, etc they made it easy for us. They have worked with so many vendors that they only work with the best. My flowers were ABSOLUTELY beautiful!!! Patty had asked me for a copy of my wedding invitation not knowing why. The day of our wedding when the cake came out it was decorated like our wedding invitation. It literally brought me to tears. The DJ that they recommended for us was the BEST I have ever heard. My guests danced all night long. After our first dance together we had to make sure that we thanked Tamara and Patty in front of all of our guests bc w/out them our dream wedding would of not of been possible. I would HIGHLY recommend Chic Concepts to anyone planning a destination in Puerto Vallarta. I have attached some pics of their wonderful work.
