  2. Hi Melissa43 & the other ladies asking about the Sand Ceremony! My husband and I had one for our wedding back in May this year. You get to pick the color of the sand and they gave each color to us in a shell. The jar we poured it into was huge and has "Martha Stewart Weddings" etched on the side. We used it to bring the sand home, but switched it to something a little nicer. I've tried to attach a picture here so you can see what it looked like
  3. Hi Wendy! My husband and I got married in May this year, and they did have the Beach BBQ party on the friday. It was our last night there and we used that instead of a welcome/farewell dinner at a restaurant. We had our photographer take some pictures on the beach (the sun is so beautiful at that time of day!) and everyone could easily mix and mingle. They started it off with a Sesame Street show, had a fire dancer, dancing contests where the crowd could get involved, ice sculptures, a tiki bar and TONS of food. It was lots of fun! Hope that helps Krista
  4. Sorry - I thought this would attatch to the questions about the stereo equipment/ipod dock, but it doesn't look like it did! So to be more specific, there was no cost for speakers, ipod dock etc for the ceremony, but it was $125 per hour for the reception. Hope that helps!
  5. Hi Mary! My husband and I were married on the beach this past May. We did bring our own ipod, and they had quite the sound system set up in one of the beach cabanas, with large speakers on stands. The music was clear, and they played all the right songs - we had them all ready and in order on the ipod and just gave the list to our wedding coordinator of what was to be played when. For our reception, we created our own playlist at home, plunked it on their ipod dock and hit play...we didn't have to worry about it all night. It was perfect! And very well received by our guests. We had them all give us their top 5 favorite songs and made sure we included as many as we could on the playlist so it was a bit more personalized. Hope that helps! Krista
  6. Hi Emilie! My husband and I got married this May on the 25th and we chose the beach location for our ceremony. It was beautiful, but they will warn you it is a very public location. I have a couple of pictures I could share if you haven't seen any?
  7. Hi Emilie! I was married on May 25th this year at Beaches Turks and Caicos, and we chose the beach location. It was beautiful, but they do warn you that it's a very 'public' location. I have a few pictures I could share if you haven't seen any
