OMG! This is EXCELLENT. You have given me SO MANY ideas to add to my own. I am getting married at Dreams Cancun July 20, 2012 and you have alleviated some of many of my concerns. How was it getting through customs with the gift bags and goodies? That is one of my biggest concerns, along with taking my dress on the plane. We are planning to fly Airtran, which seems to be the only airline that flies directly to Mexico from Maryland. I may actually spring for the rehersal dinner, we do not have a big wedding party, but it would be a great way to get the guests together prior to the wedding. I am getting married at Dreams Cancun July 2012..hopefully you will be the resident expert by then : ) This is a great site for finding information on DIY projects, etc. I have already designed my invites ready to go out in August. Has anyone seen these bags in stock this summer? I just happened upon them then decided to look on here and low and behold there is a forum I called the Dollar Tree and they said they may be in stock again beginning February 2012! Blah. Until then I will be on the look out. I do not need them until next summer. But it does not hurt to plan ahead.

Dreams Tulum does fabulous weddings! I was on vacation and saw several during the week I was there. I think the beach and the church were the best locations. I am actually having my wedding at Dreams Cancun (7-20-12) because it is closer to the airport (some of my guests are only staying 3 nights). Congrats and great choice!
