    Waikiki / Oahu might be easier on accomodations for your guests because as you mentioned, there are a plethora of options. Plus, if you have guests coming to Hawaii for the first time, there would probably be more of the typical 'attractions' they can do afterwards. Have you thought about doing the wedding in Oahu and then honeymooning in Maui?
