Hi Ladies I know many past brides have mentioned this before. Can anyone tell me how large the sheers for the beach gazebo should be? I have decided to try and buy my own and bring them as 100.00 per sheer seemed a bit steep. Best, Laura

Hi All I need some wording advice... I am getting close to my rsvp date and after that there is a 2 week window before I will need to reduce the number of rooms reserved to avoid penalty ... I have several guests who have rsvp'd yes but who have not booked their room yet... my TA rec sending out a mass email to those who replied yes but who have not booked their room... has anyone had to do this and if so would you be willing to share your wording? Hi DawnDean I am curious what TA you are using... your wedding is in April of 2013 and you already have 36 guests booked?? I am jealous... I have 12 and mine is in October.. how did you get people motivated to book early??

We are staying at Azul for the wedding From the 3rd through until the 8th and then Casitas from the 8th-15th for our honeymoon! Congrats on the baby!!!! We are planing to go back for our 1 year anniv and then start our family!!

Definitely do not be depressed!! I am kinda jealous at this point... my FI and I both have very large families soo the only way we could afford a wedding is to do a destination... 300+ invites later and we have 12 rooms booked... that is it.... I spent more money on invites and save the dates and trying to plan for 100+ people (assuming not all 300 would attend) and I find out that no one wants to travel...so now I am down to a small wedding that I could have afforded at home... but in the end it all the matters is that its you and your FI are together and your GETTING MARRIED!!!!! Congrats... hope all goes well!!!

Caribe was the photographer soo I kinda followed them around and they seemed to be super fun with the Bride and Groom as well as creative with their photos!! I def rec them.

Hi Ladies... Its been a while since I have posted. I have sent out my formal invites this week... seems so early since my wedding is not until October but since all the rooms need to be booked by August 20th... I figured the guests will appreciate more time to decide/ book/ save money.... Has anyone had a guest book past the 45 day prior deadline? Did you find any issues with that? Also I have been looking for tote bags for my welcome bags and was wondering if anyone had suggestions on website to try? Can't believe its less then 5 months..

Hi All I am almost done with the planning.. any suggestions on length of time for the photographer.. I would like a few shots getting ready so you figure 1 hour there.. plus then we have the ceremony and reception from 4-10 (6 hours)... I don't know if we really need the photographer there the whole time.. it seems a bit excessive.. What do you suggest?

I was just there and the american dollar was accepted everywhere. I even did day trips in Cancun and Playa Del Carmen and I used dollars without an issue. Safe travels..

All I just got back from my "rehersal" visit at El Dorado Casitas (honeymoon location) and Azul Sensatori!!! We had a wonderful time!! I am literally just starting my detail sheet. I feel like this is going to be a long year of preparation... I hope all the early October and late Septemeber brides had a great time!! Any one have suggestions for a song other then the wedding march??? I am not the most traditional bride and that song just does not seem to fit for me... Any suggestions? Also has any one done an ipod set up at wedding? How did it go with out having a dj/ mc? Happy Planning Brides!!! xoxo
