Hey everyone - I have a couple more questions! Less than 6 months to go, and I am starting to hear more from Maria - I received confirmation today that I can have a pool side reception at the Pool Bar. Is this a nice location? What does the reception include? I am assuming tables...etc? I would like to bring along some floating candles to place in the pool, has anyone else done this, or know if this would be allowed? For the bar at the reception, I have received the following prices....what would people suggest? Special cocktail (sparkling wine, beer, margaritas, pina colada) $5/person - $3/person additional hour National Bar (beer, rum vodka, cocktails, gin) $17/person - $12/person additional hour They also gave us the option of international bar, but I don't think that's necessary. Do you think Special cocktail would be enough? Also for the reception, I would like a DJ, and figured I would just go with the DJ at the resort. Is he any good? For people who have had receptions, how long do you usually have them for? My final question (for now) - we are booked at Tulum, and received our restaurant choices... which are either mexican or brazilian, neither of which really appeal to us for our wedding dinner.. Do you know if they allow you to pick one of the restaurants from Coba or Akumal instead? I am sure I will have more questions, as things come up, but peoples opinions on this would be great!! Thanks!
