Hi all, We have a few guests staying at other resorts and coming to the ILA the day of the wedding. Has anyone else had guests do this? Can they come to the resort for the full day? Or just for the ceremony/reception? Is the cost added to our wedding bill at the end of the trip? I don't want our guests to be charged these fees. Also, I'm having issues getting responses from Giselle. I sent all of my paperwork in 3 months before the wedding, but is there anything else they require prior to us arriving? A lot of resorts require a deposit. Or is this it, I now just show up and get married!! Thanks, Michelle

Hi all, Has anyone dealt with the new Wedding Coordinator since Yahimara left? I was informed by the resort that Yahimara has left, however I wasn't given any information on who, if anyone, is taking her place. Thanks, Michelle

Yahimara was on holidays until last week. I haven't heard from her since then so I think she's busy going through all her emails. Normally I don't have an issue getting a response from her.

I'm getting married at the ILA in March, 2012 and I have the same question about photographers. We met with a photographer a few days ago and she said as long as the photographer does not move from resort to resort there are usually no issues. Technically, they are just a guest of the wedding party. But, I'm interested in any additional information anyone can provide! Also, I'm deciding between the menu options. Has anyone had their reception at the steak house? Are there alternative menu options, or just the one steak menu? We have a vegetarian in our party. I'd appreciate any advice with choosing the reception! Thanks!
