for those who already got married at dreams what happens when the reception is finished? How do they announce that is it over and do people just pick up their stuff and leave or is there an announcement that the bride and groom are leaving? I was thinking of maybe having sparklers at the end when we leave the reception but not sure. What do you all think?

Hey girls, I was wondering if I can get an idea on how many rooms you guys were blocking at the resort? What is a ballpark range your trip is costing? If you don't mind me asking. I'm trying to figure out when I should block rooms for my May wedding and I really don't know if I should wait a few months and maybe pricing will go down? Or will it go up or stay the same??? I'm overwhelmed...

Hi Sarah-Jane, This helps me out a ton. Thanks for the info. I like your timeline and I think I may do the same. Hopefully guests are ok with that one hour gap in between the ceremony and cocktail hour. Or maybe I might push my ceremony to start at 6? However I'm not sure if that would be too late to start or past sunset. hmmmm.

I was wondering if I can get some ideas or examples of timelines from you girls? I requested a 5:30 ceremony 6:30-7:30 cocktail hour and 7:30-11:30 reception. For some reason I thought the reception was 4 hours long but Ana is telling me the reception is only 3 hours and anything over we need to pay $15.00 which I think means per person, right? I was hoping to atleast go until 11:00pm. Ending at 10:30 seems a little early to end the reception. I can get other ideas from you all that would be very much appreciated.

Ana told me it is fine as long as I pay for a day pass for him and who ever he is bringing with him. In the e-mail she did highly recommend the spa but I've been hearing mixed reviews and I didn't want to chance it. Adrian has been wonderful and responds to my e-mails right away. He also has a facebook page that you can check out as well.

Carbaholic, Thanks for your review! I can't wait to see pictures! In regards to your ceremony decoration...Did your coordinator just assume the lime green on the huppah is what you wanted? Did you guys discuss what you wanted the ceremony design to look like before the wedding? My taste is similar to yours and your revised ceremony set up is exactly what I want mine to look like. Good thing you caught it before hand! I hope that doesn't happen to me! ee!

RTOWNSEND: That's wierd that the wedding coordinator is saying 4pm is the lastest..hmmm. I'm going to e-mail her and ask what time is the sunset and if she would recommend at 5pm ceremony. We are having our reception at the pool deck and we are hoping to have around 50 guests to our wedding. How about you? How far along are you with your wedding planning? Sarah80: I will def. Have to check out your wedding! I'm excited and I am sure its going to be soo stunning!

Hi Sarah! I'm thinking maybe a 5pm wedding is better as well. It seems as though its what most brides are scheduling Looks like we might see each other! We arrive the day you get married aww! If you don't mind me asking, how far a long are you with your wedding planning? Have you booked any vendors, photographers etc??
