  1. We had about 45 people, so your plan would work perfectly. The BB beginnings package does come with white chairs for the beach (I wouldn't recommend doing anything else with them - I think they also sell pads for a certain price) and yes, we did upgrade to an arch - which was beautiful! As far as things I wish I would have done - I would have wanted to do a "Trash the Dress" photo session the day after in the ocean. It's like $100 or so, and some of the photos I've seen are beautiful! I also wish I had handed out our welcome bags ourselves. We ran into a lot of issues with the resort - and many of our guests never got their bags! That's pretty much it, though, your day will be so perfect it will be hard to imagine it any other way Hope that helps!
  2. We got married on the beach (we thought we were going to do the beach gazebo, but once you get there and see the beach right next to it, it's hard not to do it! I think it would depend on how many people you have in attendance. We then had a cocktail hour in the gardens - which worked out perfectly, and had our reception right on the beach near where they do massages. The locations were perfect! You have to pay the resort $250 to set things up for you. But that includes the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. I thought it was definitely worth not having to think about it on your big day - or having to assign someone to do it. And, please, feel free to send along any other questions! I'm happy to help!
  3. Hi nmw134, Sorry I didn't respond! I was already in Jamaica when you sent your note We had 46 (!!) guests come down to Sandals, so it was a big crew, but so fun. We went with the Beautiful Beginnings package, but added a few things in like candles on the tables, fans w/programs for the ceremony, our own sand ceremony kit (much cheaper than going with Sandals), bags with candles to light the pathway to our reception, etc., etc., Most of it I brought with me down there - we had three extra suitcases! They also printed menus off for us, which was really nice. Overall, it was an amazing time! Sandals Negril is beautiful - don't go expecting an new, modern resort. It is definitely older, but has a lot of character. It had an old Caribbean feel that we absolutely loved! The staff there is amazing. The beach location they have for weddings is perfect. The wedding planners (once you get down there - NOT the ones from Miami) are AMAZING to work with and make you feel as though you are the only wedding there. There were definitely a few glitches, which I could save for a whole other post When are you getting married??
  4. Hi ladies, I actually have my wedding at Sandals Negril next weekend (May 29, 2011) and will be sure to share my experiences (and pictures!) with you all Angie
