  6. Hi Ladies! I am looking to sell some of my wedding decor from my wedding last year. These items will spruce up any wedding venue (inside or out!). I bought all of the items BRAND NEW and CUSTOM and took it with me to the Mayan Riviera, Mexico to be used for both my ceremony and reception. The following is a package of items, which I paid over $600.00 for: 10 Large - Pink Paper Lanterns 10 Large White Paper Lanterns 4 Large Coral Paper Lanterns 5 Medium Coral Paper Lanterns 5 Medium White Paper Lanterns 6 Medium Fuchsia 1 Medium Pink 3 Small White 3 Small Pink 1 String of lights (to light up the lanterns) & 10 individual lights (to place inside the lanterns) ALSO.... 10 Custom-made Silk Flower Pomanders (6 pink/white mix & 4 ivory)...I paid $240.00 for all 10 of them and currently they are renting for $10/piece. Again, I paid over $600.00 for these items listed above and only used them on my wedding day. These items will be great for any spring/summer/destination wedding!   7. Hey Ladies! I've totally been MIA up to this point but have been reading all your very informative posts Thanks! So our day is up and coming....November 15th @ AS!!! SO nervous and so excited!!!! A few questions for you ladies out there.... 1. I have hired a wonderful couple (M&J Photography) to do our wedding pictures from the Ceremony up to the end of the reception (1:30 to 11 pm). I am having doubts now as I intitally opted out of getting a videographer.....any thoughts if I should try to find one last minute??? Is it worth the $$$? 2. I am bringing some of my own decor (ie. paper lanterns, etc), does anyone know how much they charge on site to set it all up? 3. I also decided (initially) to opt out of the Spa services as I'm very particular about my hair and make up. Have any of you had the chance to get your make up/hair done by the resort staff.....thoughts? Totally feel like I'm getting COLD FEET about all these things....but not cold feet about the wedding itself! Help!! (please) -Nada
  8. Hey Everyone! I am super stressed about the photographer/videographer situation so if anyone has any advice it would be fab... I'm having the sky wedding ceremony at around 3 pm and then cocktails at 4 pm -4:30 pm and then the dinner reception at 6 pm till 11 pm at Zavaz plaza. How long would I need the photographer and videographer around for?? I've never really dealt with this before so would it be for like 8 hours....because if so, it would be horrendously expensive! any ideas??? Has anyone negotiated with the photographers or did you just book through Lomas' packages? Thanks Ladies!! ~Nada
  9. Hey Murmel! sorry! Ya it looks gorgous! I'm just in the process of picking my colors let alone anything else....STRESSFUL! Thanks for the feedback about the curfew thing....I know our company will want to party into the night so I was even thinking of renting out one of the ballrooms for a few hours after Zavaz plaza to have a midnight buffet and dance up there. But I guess just chilling out at the mojito lounge would be chill too. I was just at the sensatori 2 weeks ago and I LOVED the swinging beds in the coffee lounge. Any suggestions on what I should do? Move the party upstairs to the hall or just kinda let people do their own thing (mojito lounge, coffee bar, etc)? Any suggestions (from anyone) would be greatly appreciated!! thanks! -Nada

I've read through some of these threads and they have been SUPER helpful in deciding where I want to have my wedding, which ended up being the Azul Sensatori in the Mayan Rivera area of Mexico....I am very excited! Thanks to everyone for the tips and suggestions!! Now I'm on the way to planning....wish me luck! ~Nada

    Congrats! I'm getting married there in November 2011. My FI and I just got back from visiting the resort and its gorgeous!
