I thought I was going to be a sweaty mess too! But suprisingly, there is always a great breeze that keeps you cool. The heat didnt bother me one time while we were down there, and I get hot so easy! I would not worry about showers, they last minutes when and if they happen. The weather forcast said rain every day too while we were there, and I think it rained twice for less than 5 minutes. Its actually really nice. No worries!

Thanks Michelle! My dress is from a designer called Pronovias, all of the dresses are absolutley stunning and I had a hard time choosing!

We havent gotten our link yet, they said no later than this afternoon. I can't wait to view it. I'm glad to hear you like yours. Sophia, don't stress about the photography now. Its really not bad, but just make sure you have them explain to you when you are to view them. I brought my dress on the plane, and they hung it for me in the closet. Im sure it wont be a problem, they just cant promise you anything ahead of time.

Brandy, I just got this email from the video department..... We apologize for the inconvenience however, your wedding video will be available for viewing no later than tomorrow afternoon. A link will be sent to your email. As soon as you have gotten this link and have watched the video, kindly send us an email if you would like any changes made or if you would like us to ship it to you. I would hope you got the same one!!

Thanks Brandy! I dont know why I didnt use my first name when setting this up....confusing I guess! Omg! We had the exact same thing happen to us!! They told us they were going to call and set up a viewing appointment with us, and NEVER did. So we stopped by randomly and they showed us them really quick, basically rushing us which irked me because I needed to pick the ones I wanted and there were SO many! They then told us that our family, who had already had left the resort wouldnt be able to view them all. Only the ones we purchased! I was fuming.The people in the photo shop dont have a clue, and we got different answers everytime we went to figure it out. Not a great way to spend one of our last days btw! Thank god for Stacey though. My husband went and explained the situation and she took care of everything. She is a doll!

Brandy, yes that is basically exactly what she responded to me with. I did get a email yesterday from beaches with a link to our pictures...which I already had all set up. So I emailed them back letting them know it is the video I need. We have had nothing but issues with the phoographers at Beaches. Everything was screwed up down there as well. I recommend to all the brides out there to go with Tropical Imaging!!! My guests got the same pictures Beaches got, if not BETTER! Its a total scam/ripoff to go with Beaches Photographs. They are SO unorganized!!! Just have one of your guest volenteer to take photos of the ceremony and anything else on the Beaches property you may want. I guarentee they will be the same quality if not way better. Tropical Imaging will come right to you, you will just have to walk a little ways down the beach so you are off Beaches property....I would have gotten my family ones done with TI too if I had known that before, but I found out a little to late. Oh well, the TTD came out amazing, and it was fun to just be with my husband for a little while. I will keep you posted Brandy!

Brandy- I also inquired about my video, and Monica just got back to me saying that I should have revieved a link to view the video, that way I can approve it and they then ship it. I never recieved a link though, so she is checking with the resort now. I will let you know what ends up happening! Im anxious to get mine after only 2 weeks! I can only imagine how you feel!

I got a trial hair run for $40 a couple days before the wedding. The day of the wedding my hair session was $70. It came out the way I wanted it, and I just did my own make-up because I like to.

Hi Ladies! Im back! It was absolutly the most amzing trip ever! No matter what all you decide to go with, I promise there is no way you could ever be disappointed. The resort is beautiful, and SO much fun! We got married at on the Schooners deck at 2pm. It was breathtaking. At first I had my heart set on the small gazebo, but we are so glad we chose this in the end. Schooners was closed at the time, so it was really private. I had a great isle to walk down, and views of the beach and water right behind us. The ceremony was perfect...short and sweet. We chose to cut the cake and sign the papers directly after the ceremony, because thats when we had the photographer and and videographer. We then took group shots on the beach, which came out suprisingly good! I was expecting randoms in the backround, but there really werent. We chose 33 images on a cd. It was hard to chose, but we are happy with what we got. After the pictures we had our 1 hour cocktails and orderves on the jacuzzi deck over looking the ocean. The food was amazing, and there was plenty of it! I would recommend doing this instead of spending the money on dinner. Stacey(the wedding coordinator) made us a reservation for 6pm(an hour after the cocktails/orderve ended. It was perfect because it gave everybody a chance to go freshen up!) on Schooners deck for our whole group, and they even served our cake there! It was great! We then all proceeded to party our faces off on the resort. We spent lots of time at Cricketeers, Turtles and Liquid. The bartenders and staff are all so fun and friendly! Friday night we had a reservation for our whole group at Kimonos which is the habachi place. It was a blast, and I highly reccommend doing this with your group. I will post some pics and a little more about our trip soon! Im at work right now and really should get back at it! I hope this helps a little! Feel free to ask any questions you may have!

LizzDee- Those are gorgeous! I love how you added some backround about Turks and Caicos! I wish I had...I can't even tell you how many times we were asked where Turks and Caicos even was by our guests before they booked!

KimTerrance- Thats what we are doing as well. We have a small Beaches package, but then 2 days after on May 7th we are going to do the Trash The Dress shoot w/ TI...it gives me another chance to wear my dress! I will let you know how everything works out!

TimsWife2Be- I struggled with the same thing. I have heard some not so great reviews on Beaches photography but want my family and the ceremony/reception to be in the pictures. I chose the 18 images on the CD, and hopefully if they come out good I will have the option to chose more. I'm not exactly sure if that will be the case though, and won't even bother asking Monica because I'm sure she won't get back to me until AFTER our wedding at this point! I'll keep you posted..

I have chosen to go with the 18 images for $410 through Beaches, along with the Deluxe Edit DVD. Does anybody know if they just take 18 images and thats it? Or do they take way more and give you the option to buy more after you see them? I dont want to committ, and then end up hating the quality of the pictures. My fiance and I are doing the Trash the Dress with Ileana a couple days after the wedding, but our family wont be in any of those.

This sight has helped SO much! Any suggestions about which photo package to chose through Beaches? Do you have to decide right away or can I wait until I get there? I want video and obviously a few of the ceremony. I am going with Tropicall Imaging a few days after our wedding, and my Aunt will also be taking pictures...
