Thanks biehnbag! Your wedding looks awesome and it really helps me get ideas for what to do for my wedding!! How did your organize all of your group? My mind is just boggled on how to organize all of my guests!!!!! My problem is that I have guests coming from all over the place, but I also have guests who are staying for 7 nights, 6, 5, 4, 3, etc..! I think I would like to encourage everyone to book it through bookit.com since it seems like its the best deal. But not everyone will want to book instantly for whatever reason, but I think I should still block rooms for them in case they book 2-3 month before the wedding right? Also, some people may not want to use bookit and therefore I would need to block rooms for them too. SOOOO...do you think its possible for me to block rooms for EVERYONE (those who book online with packages AND those who book hotel only direct) and if they book online, I can just tell the hotel to consider them as part of my group block? Sorry, does that even make sense what I just typed?! AH! How did you do it?!? HELP!! Jacqueline

Did you have one of your family members/friends managing the Ipod during the reception when the MC was welcoming the bridal party and doing the first dance? I assume this was before the DJ started working?

I'm a Vancouverite also!!! I had a TA who originally quoted to me $1900!!!!!!! And then I told her to look into Westjet, which forced her to book flights and hotel seperately and when adding flights + hotel it ended up being around $1350, but she didn't block the flights in time and the price went up to $1450. I was REALLY disappointed with her and actually just decided to change TAs the other day. Question to all the brides out there, how long did you have your DJ for? The package comes with 2 hours and then I was thinking of getting another 2 hours. But I am wondering if its really necessary to have the DJ for the 1st hour of the reception when people are coming in, speeches are being done, food being served etc. But then..you don't want the room to have NO music in the background while ppl are coming in...or do you?? Wow that is expensive to do a slideshow! I"m only wanting to show a 10 min presentation..and spending $300 for that is a bit much. I'm wondering if I can substitute it with something I don't want in the package...although..it doesn't seem likely.

Thanks for the tips! Another question...has anyone done a slideshow using a projector? Does that cost extra?

Does anyone know if the Bamboo Room has a place for dancing? I'm getting the Divine Package and I asked if a dance floor was included and Ana Maria said its not That seems a bit silly to me.
