Hi - I am at the Akumal in November as well also inquiring about a pool side reception - just received a quote today but getting information is like pulling teeth so far. I am not entirely sure of how this works yet so if you have any information to date please do share! I was told a minimum of 50 ppl. I am not entirely pleased with the venue options for the ceremony that I was offered - I would love the Gazebo but it wasn't offered and have to only the beach; the other venue was not big enough for my guests. If anyone has any suggestions as to other venue's I should be pushing for I would love to hear them. Thanks!

Hello - We are in the final selection stages and are waiting for costs and was wondering - it is worth going through the travel agent to have the deal with the guest bookings or did many of you go direct through say West Jet Vacations or iTravel 2000 type of booking agency? Let me know - we have also been tasked with trying to keep the costs down so any insight would be appreciated! Natasha
