I have worked with them on more than one occassion and must say...they are amazing!  Mango Productions is a professional, modern and affordable photo/videography company.

Good luck! and dont forget to scrub before you use it.  Avoid your hands, knees, feet and knees and wear loose clothing after.

A good friend of mine who has an amazing "fake" tan recommended this to me. If you order it off Amazon it's half the price. I got mine a few days ago and am just about to try it. I'm not looking for a dark tan, just a little bit of color. Wish me luck.

I am assuming the past bride and my bride next week has paid the vendor fee herself, it has never been brought to my attention.

I personally can do hair and make-up for the bride plus two additional guests. If I take an assistant, I can do the bride plus 5-6 guests (taking into consideration the start time of your wedding and the time your guests are willing to get started).

It really depends on how thick/course your hair is.  The first few times you get waxed generally lasts 3 weeks. The more often you get waxed the finer your hair grows in and the longer you can go between visits.

Hi Tennyt1!  Every make-up artist and make-up company differ from one another. Each offering something all their own. IMHO there is no such thing as "better" when you have an experienced, licensed professional who is applying professional products. It is simply a matter of what you are looking for in a licensed artist. I use MAC and LOVE their products but could never commit to just them. I have favorites in MANY lines.  I would do a trial run with both stores and take pictures of your make-up inspiration. MAC does charge a nominal fee and you can never go wrong with their shadows :)  Sephora has more than one line and can offer you great choices as well.

  7. That is great to hear Yazmin! Please, keep us posted. Many brides are on a budget (as most of us are) but do not realize when they are getting discount prices many times the work is discounted. When choosing a professional you should not only take into consideration the price but the education, experience, quality, customer service and true interest in you and their art. All the best to you B2B!!

  8. Hi vlynnw!

I personally do not use airbrush for weddings.  There is so much new technology, airbrush is a bit out dated. I use High Definition make-up. I love it because it gives you great coverage and you dont have that "made up" look.  HD make-up is made for cameras and lights.  The granules in the makeup help reflect light and give you a beautiful, healthy, shimmering glow without looking oily. Also, the make up does not seep into your pores so you do not get a thick look. HD is long lasting and comes in waterproof formulas as well. With a spritz of make-up stay (like hair spray for make-up) you are camera ready all day. I hope this helps :)

  9. Hi Less is more :) Any beauty supply store should carry them (especially beauty supply stores that specialize in ethnic hair). If you do not have any luck, PM me and I will find out for you. Kera Care is a great line but I HIGHLY recommend you and your daughter use Kerastase "Aqua Seal" before you take a dip in the pool and "Lait Richesses" after your day in the sun to protect your hair. Use your normal shampoo with these two products.

  10. The weddings I have done latley have had sooo many cool BM dresses.  All dresses ranging from super inexpensive to OMG!  Ugly bridesmaid dresses are such a thing of the past. The modern bride wants her bridal party to look good and to be able to wear the dress again. Fashion does not have to be expensive. Do not dismiss Forever 21 and H&M (and other discount stores) there are sooo many cool choices. Victoria Secret has a convertable dress I believe comes in array of colors (look for orange)! Be creative, it doesnt have to cost your BM a fortune and your pictures will look great! Jewelry that pops, cool hair, awesome make-up and BAMMMM! You are good to go!  Have fun:)

  11. Tanning beds are great if you want a good base before tanning.  If you plan to lay out, you should always have a good base. Tan lotions with carrot help give you a very nice color. I personally dont like anything that speeds the tanning bed process because you get an unnatural tan(almost weird looking). I love spray tans (if done correctly) because they give you a glow you cannot get from a tanning bed.  If you get a "Mystic Tan" you should scrub 1 day before you do so. Also, apply lotion to your elbows, knees, feet and hands so they do not get dark.  Make sure you are lifting your arms and moving in a circular motion so you dont get any streaks. When the session is over, wipe the excess "tan" off from your feet upwards with a towel. Wear loose clothing and do not wear any jewelery.  Do not shower until the next day because the "tan" keeps working.  If you are getting sprayed, the same apply...scrub and apply lotion to elbows, feet & knees. Your professional can mix colors to accent your abs, shoulders ect...A quick spray on your face is also nice because you get an all over glow. Make sure you do the same motions (circular motion) to ensure consistency and no streaks.  Wear loose clothing and no jewelery. Either choices are great because a tan always makes you look healthy and thinner. Everything in moderation :)

  12. I have mixed feelings about eyelash extensions.  I like them because they do last if you do not apply much mascara. So, they are great when you are on holiday and dont want to look washed out.  If you wear mascara you should remove it daily. Otherwise, this can lead to an eye infection and ugly build-up. When you remove the mascara with your oil free make-up remover it is inevitable that you will remove some of the glue. When particles of the glue are dissolved this leads to the lashes doing a "lifting" affect. They are no longer completly intact. So, you are faced with either re-applying some glue(which is difficult because you are doing a "spot" job) or removing the lash. When you remove a lash/lashes that are not completley loose, you then loose your own lashes with them. If you are considering lashes for your big day strips are also a good choice. There are several ways to apply them depending on the effect you are going for...cat eyes, baby doll look, glam ect...If applied correctly, they will withstand the heat and humidity. You can re-use strip lashes but should dispose of them every 6 months just as you would mascara because they hold bacteria as well.

  13. Victoria Secret has a great Convertable Bra and it also comes with clear straps.  The band in the back is pretty wide so it will give you support.  Fredericks of Hollywood has a large assortment in their catalog. You can go to a store and ask to preview it.  I dont know if they have the same options online. Also, check out the bras that are strapless and backless(the name escapes me now). It has a special adhesive (kind of like masking tape). Be sure not to have any lotions or creams on so the adhesive sticks properly.

  14. JenK,I had the great opportunity to work with Jerome in Cabo.  With Jerome you not only get professionalism you get his trained eye (straight from Paris)for superb photos. The way he can tell a love story through his lens is one of his many talents. Also it may be a cliché but to have a French photographer (from the city of love) take your wedding photos?? Come on now?!? He DEF has my vote!!
