  1. So glad you had a nice experience!

Our server at the buffet was Alfredo and he was awesome!  Someone mentioned that we were getting married and he pulled the band over to play for us and dance and sing... it was great!   There was this short little waiter guy shakin' what his mama gave him... it was a riot.

  2. I can imagine the importance of that!  We're getting married in our local courthouse first (I guess we need to figure that out too) probably the week before the wedding, and then just doing the symbolic ceremony on the beach.

I think so but maybe its a month before when we have to send the planning guide. I am starting to work on the legal documents needed to get a civil marriage. I can't believe its less than 6 months away!

  3. That is a really cute idea!  Didn't think of that----I also like the idea of postcards, but I'm not sure of the logistics of it.  Do you buy them at the hotel and then have guests sign during the wedding?  Do you put them in welcome bags already stamped and have them send it to us?

  4. I know!  I went to a destination wedding in Mexico and some people did get "sick" but nothing that we couldn't joke about----Plus immodium works wonders!  As long as it's not vomiting and food poisoning right?  Although it does seem like some people have gotten that.

But you're right---I dont want to be blamed either, especially since it's not cheap to go!  I'll feel real bad that most people are forking out 3k for a week and end up sitting on the john the whole time.
