    Hi Stacy! Nice to meet you =) I stayed at Cancun Riu Palace last year and I love it!! That's why I picked Riu Palace in Bahamas even though I never been there. The wedding planner told me she doesn't work with brides until 1 month before. I thought that was kinda weird since I have lot of questions... We're bringing welcome bags.     Hello Ladies! I'm getting married on 10/8/11 at Riu as well. I'm so happy to find you guys =) We're getting a royal package and debating if I should upgrade to private dinner.     Happy New Year Everyone! Loua4: I'm so happy I found someone who got married in Riu recently! Congrats on your wedding. I'm glad it turned great! Which theme and package did you pick? We have about 40-50 guests. We wanted to stay at Sandals but we found out they don't allow kids. So we're really going towards Riu. Did Riu have entertainments or did you have to provide entertainments for your guests? How was your decorations? Tiffany: Did you already book that day? Which package are you going to do?     I'm thinking about having a wedding this year October. The more I research I'm getting confused. Did you guys hire a TA? Do you recommend them? I'm debating between Sandals and Riu. I have about 40-50 guests and have a ring bearer and a flower girl. I just found out Sandals doesn't allow kids. Where does my guest stay if they have kids? I guess Riu will be better for us. Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks!

    Thank you Dominiqueamber! I'm debating between Cancun, Bahamas & Hawaii now. I'm more confused each day ;-) This is harder than I anticipated. I just want a wedding on the beach. *Sigh*

    Congrats on your wedding! I'm new on this website & this is my first post... I recently got engaged & we're planning our wedding in Bahamas... We stayed at Riu at Cancun & liked it a lot. So we're thinking about having a wedding in Riu at Bahama. Due to our budget, we are gonna get married during hurricane season. When is a good time to go? Is Sept to Nov okay? What package is good @ Riu? The website said "semi-private" reception. How was your reception? Any advices will be appreciated. Thanks, Tina
