Question for you ladies - Are you guys using the hotel photographer? Or hiring someone else to come in? I am really on the fence about this because i have seen past comments from brides saying the photographer that is included showed up half way through the wedding and the pictures weren't very good. I don't want to spend alot at all on pictures because you really don't (well i wouldn't) print that many pictures and there will be a ton of pictures from other people but i do want about 25(or so) REALLY good pictures. Opinions??

Ya i was uner the impression the chair covers are included in the package. And when you pay $25 per person who is additional to the package they also cover those chairs.

I think my FI is just going to rent a suit/tux before we go. As for the GM i told them what i would like them to wear so hopefully that's what they get. Haha I don't really want to do anything extravagent to i think i'm done! I hope! I would also like to get my FI something for the wedding day but i also have no idea what to get him!

I notice alot of Brides saying they still have a ton of things to do, what is it that all needs to be done!? I don't feel like i really have anything to do and haven't really done anything so far. I hope i'm not missing a ton of things to do and get down there and realize i didn't do anything right! Help anyone? I have already: - Ordered my dress - Got bridesmaid dresses - Picked Flowers - Got wedding favors for guests - Got rings - Booked the trip with the TA - Scheduled the JP to come to our house to legally marry us (we aren't legally getting married in Jamaica) I thought that would be everything?

I was told for chairs they all have white chair covers and they include the chair covers for the amount of people included in your package and also for each additional person you pay for. You will have to pay extra for the sashes if you want them Katelynn - Thanks for the info on Jan's Flowers!

Katelynn do you have a contact for Jan's for the flowers? I was quoted $400 from the place the resort goes with and that's only for 4 bout and 3 bm bouqets and mine. Let me know. Thanks

I just got an email back and Beverly's assitant said i am eligable for the free package and she sent be the info. I was going to do the cheapest one anyways which was $700 + $35 per person after 16 and the free package i say the $700 right off the bat and also it's only $25 per person after the 16. All i have to pay for is the extra people and the flowers. Also are you ladies using the hotel photographer that is supplied or are you getting a different one? I heard people say they have bargin'd with the photographer and got the entire disk of pictures for $300 so i'm hoping to do the same.

Ya my TA said she doesn't want to get into the wedding stuff, which is understadable and she gave me the email info and that's it. I will wait to see what Beverly or her assistant say about the free wedding package as we don't need much. Katelynn - Did she say how much the gazebo rental and the minister fees are with the free wedding package?

I emailed her last week and she sent it to her assistant and she replied to me. This time i emailed her assistant directly.

No they never said anything about the free package to me, that's why i am curious about it. I am going with the lowest one which doesn't really come with anything and still have to pay the $25 per person after 16 but i have to pay a base price of $700, i don't think i am getting a good deal here! Haha I have already booked with Beverly months ago and just yesterday emailed about the free package and see what they say. My FI and i are legally getting married in Canada then doing the ceremony down there so we won't have to may any fees for the legal stuff.
