What is everyone using as the wording for their programs? My WC said she wasn't sure the order of events for a legal ceremony so I'm not sure what to put on the programs!!

We have a few guests that are only staying for 2 nights so I'm sure that is fine!

I was also quoted $50 per strand!! I think we're going to bring our own and also rent the tiki torches and possibly sparklers when we get down there. Are you doing the chinese lanterns? I'm trying to decide how many we need and what sizes to get. We are also going to El Dorado Casitas for our honeymoon and from all the pictures, it looks amazing.

Does anyone know what forms of payment the resort takes when we want to purchase all the "extras" on site? I didn't want to bring a lot of cash and didn't know if we could use a credit card?

I created a spreadsheet and compared what was offered in each one compared to what I would still have to add. In the end - the free wedding suited us much better and saved us money. My bridal studio packed the dress full of tissue paper to keep the overall shape. My dress was a simple silk gown and it looked like a big ball gown by the time it was fully packed!! The airline did the best to try an accomodate the dress in the overhead compartment (yuck) but it still was folded in half. I pulled it out the day after we got to the resort and it looked absolutely perfect! The bridal studio I used told me not to steam the dress - just to hang it near a bathroom and run the hot shower - I didn't need to do this. Also - if you are really worried - the resort offers same day steaming/pressing for brides - and I remember thinking it was cheap. I got Doremixx approved last week and we're signing our contract with them tomorrow! So that company is definitely still allowed!

I also asked about sparklers when I was told the cold fireworks weren't allowed. Apparently they have boxes of smaller sparklers (8 in a box) for $8 and they also have larger ones but I'm not sure how much those are that you can buy when you get down there.

I asked my WC about the cold fireworks and she said the resort doesn't allow them because they still can get hot
