Great thread, LOVE and I mean LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE your e-ring and those diamond bands! Wow, those leave an impression.. I went back to look at them twice! You looked beautiful and your hubby was very handsome in his suit! Congrats... love your TTD picutres, especially the one half in and half out of the water!! That dress is amazing!!

Great planning thread! The sunflower bouquet is beautiful, I love those too.. what a great idea and the boutonniere is really adorable too... makes me think of sunshine! Love your DIY flowr girl bouquet, ultra cute and original! Even your bubbles and place card .. everything is so original! Congrats.. it looks and must of felt very festive and tropical! Your cake looks amazing as well . I wish our resort had nice cakes like that .. wow! Also love your Mexican gifts for the guest, great touch... your wedding was fabulous loved it!

Congrats Kimberili! All that is left is the fun part in Jamaica! Glad you are taking all those mishaps with a grain of salt, it will be fun telling these stories to the grandkids when you get older!

On another note,... I leave in less than 2 weeks and still don't have my dress ... Yikes!! I'm really getting nervous that this seamstress will not get it done right on time!!!!!

Bought them off of someone on this site, however she had bought them on Discount mugs and had done the logo herself!

Just went back to almost a year back, and found the message from the mug seller... she had bought them at Discountmugs and had done the logo herself.

Thank you ladies, I got the mugs from a bride on here, she was selling her leftovers and that's exactly how many I need, i'll try to look back and see where she got them. The bags I bought on Amazon, I did a search for purple non woven bags .. and they came out to 2$ each, the seller has some in almost every color!

Just posted on the OOT bag thread however thought I'd post my final pic of a bag with the goodies that went inside it! Not easy to get stuff delivered in Canada especially for a reasonable price... but hey it all turned out okay!

I will have purple organza when I get back from my wedding... this will be in 3 weeks.

This cake is sooo amazing, I don't think I've seen a more perfect and spectacular cake .. WOW!

Starfish bookmarks were one of the first items I got, bought them off a past bride who had too many.

Second item also bought from a previous bride on this site .. the travel mugs .. with a nice hibiscus flower and Punta Cana already on it!

I just had some waterproof labels printed out and added everyone's names on them.

I heard there aren't any face towels in the DR, so I added one if each bag wrapped it in a ribbon with a little square tag with our names and the date.

Our logo was made by the infamous MrsTGun, who you might have followed throughout her DIY preparations for her wedding. How she had the time to help out fellow brides I don't know .. but I will be forever grateful!

Here is our logo on the hand sanitizer that I printed on waterproof transparent stickers.

Medication Kit includes a pack of Pepto-Bismal tablets, Anti-diarrhea pills, Acetaminophen bottle for headaches etc... and one lip balm that I added our transparent stickers too as well. I photocopied the directions for the pepto and the immodium and put it in each medication kit.

Sewing kit I got at Micheal's .. they were 50 cents each this summer, added our logo on the top. ( See how much I love our logo!! ) hehe

Water resistant cases bought off Amazon.. was very disappointed .. ( mostly in myself) for the price I paid .. they are quite expensive I didn't bother to look up the dimensions thinking they would be okay to put the room key in .. however they are not big enough .. they can store some money and a few coins... oh well ... my bad I should have taken out a ruler to see if the dimensions were good!

My favorite thing of all .. and the thing that I splurged the most ... bought off the KNOT .. I really wanted personalized playing cards... we are a family that plays a lot of card games and I just loved this idea so had to get them!!!

Last but not least ... this little item will be in my future hubby's bag ... just wrapped it up ... it's the album I  had made of my boudoir shoot! Can't wait to see the pictures of his face opening this up!!!

I had no idea about OOT bags before finding this site, and once I saw what past brides had done I wanted to do this to. What a great way to thank those close to you that will travel all the way down south for you wedding! I did have a lot of problems with my darn bags that I got... being a newbie at this kind of thing ( especially DIY projects), I didn't look at what kind of material the bags were made of... so mistake number one quickly became mistake number 2 .... ironing on the bag equals bag burning and melting.. hmmm .. scrap 1 bag. Mistake number 3 ... embroidery ... bag too thin equals big heap of mess.... scrap bag # 2 .... so I decided I would just attach a little luggage tag or tag on it like some other brides had done... but I really wanted to personalize the bags to no avail. A few weeks ago I was in a store looking for something totally different, when I saw some stencils .. I asked a woman if she knew if there was some sort of paint that could go on fabric ... and ta da .... I finally could personalize my bags!!!! The paint I used is called so soft, they have amazing colors and it really is a fantastic product! So here is when I started off .. I did some seahorses, starfish and shells....  :

This is one bag finished and I decided to add the luggage tag with our logo as well and I added everyone's name on the handle!

Wow Camy !! Just went to see your pictures!! They look amazing.. we chose the same colors, i'm also having a pink and purple wedding !! How was it with your shoes for the ceremony?? I think we have almost the same height of heel, mine are purple as well they look similar , yours has way more bling though! What can I say about your flowers, i'm envious, I hope the resort can come up with something that is beautiful like yours, even if it won't probably be as big though! Love the flip flop idea, everything looks amazing.. Congrats again and welcome back!!! Can't wait to see more!!

Wow, what a great table you had set up for you bridal shower! Can't believe you did all that yourself, you are really talented!!! You look adorable in your crown, love the pink and black!!!

LOL didn't know other people were in the same boat ! lol ... I have two little ones at home, so going out and drinking... doesn't sound as appealing as it used to be! 3 weeks to go for me .. last minute preparations are underway!!!

I have to agree, i'm not basing it necessarily on price, but I have looked at their work and the husband and wife team do an AMAZING job.. their pictures are beautiful and i'm sure you will cherish them forever, not to say that your second cousin isn't good, however just lacking in experience.

Oh no that would be horrible to have lost it just before it was your turn to enjoy it!!!! And here I was anticipating getting it after your wedding! It must have just slipped her mind with all her wedding stuff, maybe it's already in the mail as they say ... she's been online since her return i'm sure she's passed it back to the rightful owner.

Tiffany (Islandgirl910) sent the starfish to Rasheda (futuremrstgun), and Rasheda confirmed she received it and actually sent me a pic before she left for her wedding, but I have been unable to get a hold of her since and have not received the starfish from her.

Rasheda, if you are on here please get in touch, so many other girls on here looking forward to receiving the little guy and reading the journal. I've passed this to 6 girls and just as it was about to come to me for my own wedding I would be gutted to find it's gone missing. Please help get the little guy and journal back on track.

My seamstress just came back from a 3 week vacation and said she would start on it tomorrow... hmmm i'm leaving in 3 weeks I was kinda hoping it would be done already!

What a beautiful review and planning thread! Oh my goodness your guests were really lavished with gifts & DIY projects, lucky them ... they must of been over the moon!!! Love love everything, your invites, your attention to details, all the color coordination wow! What a great bouquet you had as well.. it looks HUGE! Very pretty, your dress and your flower were perfect and the men looked handsome as well! I've never heard of this resort but what a great place you picked, very romantic and it looks secluded! You really outdid yourself and it looks like your wedding was just the way you wanted, so Congrats and be proud, Great work!!!
