  1. I'm a nurse too and I completely agree.

And I wlll probably be putting generics in my bags too.  It's cost effective and if people really need it, I don't think they'll care one bit if they're getting Ibuprofen as compared to Motrin.

Itâ€s really not ideal to be giving people meds that theyâ€re not opening themselves… even as a nurse, we pretty much open oral meds in front of the patient so they can actually see what it is, then give it to them to take. Individual packets of OTC meds just seem like a better choice to me.

  2. Hi girls!  After getting measured for my wedding dress, I realized how much smaller on the top than the bottom I really am. I'm hoping to find something to make my chest look alittle bigger than it really is.

Does anyone know of a good brand of push up bra to wear under the dress (maybe with some padding?)....

  3. I agree!!  They need to add more brands and resteraunts.

However, it is really scary to see the actual calories of some of the "healthy" foods at some resteraunts that are on there.  I usually check the app before I order to compare calories of different meals in order to make my decision.

  5. This is a great idea!!  I also love the idea of travel pillows and blankets.  I didn't even think of getting hostess gifts, but I will definately add this onto my list!

  6. I'm sorry to hear that sad.gif  They should feel honored that you are willing to do that for them!  They're being very ungrateful right now but hopefully they will realize that eventually.

When we were trying on the dresses, one of my sisters said, so you're paying for them, right? I mean, we have to pay soo much to go down. I had been planning on it, but that sort of pissed me off, considering that specific sister is not paying for her trip at all-my dad is. It's not like my wedding is cheap for me. I don't mind paying for them, I just want them to appreciate the fact that I'm paying $265 per dress x 3 and I don't feel like it's being appreciated. After trying them on, they had to leave quickly, and I was standing there, paying for them all, and haven't heard any sort of thanks.

  7. If I was able to cut out baked goods I would be much more in shape!! Not to mention, my new cupcake hobby!!  Might have to put it on a hiatus until October 22nd lol

No gym today but plan on doing an hour of cardio tommorow- 15 minutes walk, 15 minutes run, 15 minutes bike, 15 minutes high impact eliptical.

  8. Thanks!  My mom lives in Brick.  It's fun down here in the summer! I love it!  Also, your wedding date is the day before my birthday :)

I live in West Nyack, NY which is in Rockland County. I have a beach house down the shore in Brick. I spend most of my time there from spring throughout the summer. I still often come down during the winter months just to hang out and get away. I'm not far from belmar. Congrats, welcome to the forum and happy planning!! :)

  9. That is a good point!  Also, I calculated the costs of my MOH's big extravagant NJ wedding and between the dress, shoes, hair, makeup, hotel room (2 nights), gift, bachelorette party, bridal shower etc....  It added up to over $1500!!!  It was a great wedding, but just because its a DW doesn't mean its any more expensive than an at home wedding.  Plus they get a vacation!

I think it is what ever fits in your budget and feels right to you. It's your day! :)

  10. Hi girls! Congrats to everyone! I live at the Jersey Shore (no stereotypes here!). More specifically near Belmar, NJ. My FI and I are getting married 10-21-11 in Riviera Maya Mexico! I'm really excited for this thread! I bought my dress at Kleinfeld (AMAZING experience! Even if you don't buy anything it was wonderful!). And got my BM dresses at a place in Toms River, NJ that sells Alfred Angelo and guarantees the beat price. I look forward to being part of this thread and sharing ideas!
