  1. I had a lot of the same criteria as you did when looking for a resort and my top picks were either Majestic Elegance, Majestic Colonial or Dreams Palm Beach. All of them are around the same prices, at least from where I'm from. You can check out pictures on their websites or go to the facebook groups: Majestic Elegance Brides, Majestic Colonial Brides, or Dreams Palm Beach Brides and check out actual girls pictures from their weddings. They are all kid friendly and have kids areas. Dreams allows 3 and under to be free.

As far as February/March it is during high season so it will be more expensive. Hope this helps!

  2. I totally agree with this. Keep your entourage to 1 or 2 people. You have to remember a bunch of girls have totally different opinions on wedding dresses and may be biased based on the type of dress they want not the type of dress you want. You want to have a fun positive experience and having a bunch of people with conflicting opinions or having people tell you they don't like the dress you have fell in love with will ruin your experience.

When I went dress shopping I took my two Matron of honors with me, that was it. Once i go for my 1st fitting, then I'll bring along my FMIL and my mom and other close family members that I'd like to share my moment with.

The reason I say this is because my best friends mom went shopping for her wedding dress and had an entourage with her. 12 girls total and too many opinions. The bride to be was confused and frustrated. She then went alone another time and found her dream dress. She later told my best friend and I that bringing an entourage was the biggest mistake she ever made.

  3. There have been lots of brides who have used cheaptotes.com and are very happy with the quality. You can search the threads to find some pictures but I wouldn't hesitate to use them. I am definitely using them. And as far as the natural color vs pink that might be a good idea especially since there are male guests as well. You can always do your monogram in pink on the bag.

Thanks so much for that information... they look awesome!! AND SO CHEAP (WHICH IS IDEAL)!!

But.... NO PINK sad.gif shoot!!! I guess I can go with natural and it wouldn't be a big deal! That might be better because the guests may use it more if it's natural-- what do you think???

Did you buy these, or are you looking too?? I just wonder the quality, because they look good!!!
