  1. hahaha yes that is what we is happening to us as well, She finally told us that there is a three month grace period from now to booking accommodations and submitting the 25% deposit? which was a very important thing thank goodness we asked. Â However she has been getting back to us quickly ! makes me happy. Â
  2. We asked twice - for some reason she answers parts of the email dont know why, Â what is the recommended timeframe from now to booking accommodations and submitting the 25% deposit? we want to know so we can be certain the date is surely ours before we send out stds...(yes it is confirmed but we dont feel its secure without a deposit) Â anyone know the answer to this? Â thanks! Â
  3. yayy! we confirmed our wedding date with beverly so excited
  4. Can someone send me a pic of their cake they got from sheila please? thanks !
  5. Â Thats sounds good! So far I made the first step in contacting Beverly, how quickly did she get back to you? And just found out a relative is using destinationweddings.com for her wedding so I feel better about that. Â Did the gran bahia meet your expectations when it came to decor for the ceremony and reception? Did they have many options for table linens and floral center pieces, gazebo decor, the cake etc? Â
  6. Hi ! thanks for posting, Â Oh now I understand the guests aspect of it. (Paying per person at the reception) However, as per the booking rooms and flights etc I found destinationweddings.com, they are wedding specialist for destinations..they are suppose to help with the tickets and all that, plus they give the guests special discounts when booking and the option to use a payment plan. As anyone used them before ? Â Did you end up going with a travel agent then? We might be having an estimate of 30-40 guests that would go so i dont think we would have the pleasure of being on the same flight :/ Â Sorry if im asking too much, i just want to get a visual of how this is all gonna playout
  7. Hi, Â I was wondering if you can give me some pointers. I am going to begin the process of booking my wedding at GBPJ but I am unsure if I should go with a travel agent or deal with the hotel directly? After reading these forums it sounds like travel agents can be a rip off.. I ve been on vacation there last year for a week with my fiance and the price was no more then a 1000 that was for the both of us ! So to hear you guys getting rates that are higher per person scares me ! Â Also I understand after reading everyones blogs that we have to pay for meals at the reception? but do my guests still receive the all inclusive benefits for the rest of their stay ? Â
