    Wedding Inspiration

    Flowers, cake etc...
  2. We booked the junior suite, as it was much bigger and not that much more than an ocean front room. The only thing is that are the views just as nice?
  3. Nice! Â After the ceremony, not sure we may go to the Five Palms Restaurant directly after for lunch, or we may go the Grand Wailea Luau at night. We could do both, but that's alot of money to pay for everyone. I think it would be really fun for everyone to go to a luau for the reception (there is your dinner and entertainment) Â http://www.fivepalmsrestaurant.com/Home.html Â
  4. We are having a Hawaiian Christian ceremony. Â I am so excited for April, but its so far away We literally have everything prepared. There is really no more that we can do. I can't believe how easy it is working with Jo. We just say we want this and we get it. I wouldn't want to have to plan this without a coordinator. I wouldn't even know where to start! Â Â Â
  5. We originally wanted Rev. Kenneth Kalei Ho’opai but Jo told us that she has worked with him in the past and is unreliable, therefore; Vance Rosete is marrying us.  I don't recognize Kimo, what type of ceremony are you having?
  6. Has anyone stayed at the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel in Honolulu? If so how did you like it? We wanted to stay there, as its fairly cheap for being right next to the beach with ocean front rooms. Please advise
  7. For sure. The best part about Maui is the fact that you don't have to drive far to get to one side of the island to the next so really there are many accommodation options. Good luck with everything
  8. Check out the Days Inn Oceanfront in Kihei, Maui. Its 89$ a night for an oceanfront room. Thats pretty much the cheapest place if you want to be on the beach. Hopefully this helps.
  9. My fiance and I are going to be staying at the Days Inn Oceanfront Hotel, as it is cheap and we are just using it to sleep in, we will be gone most of the time. Has anyone stayed there? If you have how was it?
  10. I was wondering how everyone is transporting their dress to Hawaii?
  11. Ya that would be alot for everyone to just stand around and I know some beaches have a limit for the number of people you can have. Makena Cove is under 15 people. We are getting married the 21st lol
  12. Thanks for the reply and congratulations on your engagement. The plantation house is so nice! If I had a large group of people coming I would definitely go there.
  13. My fiancée and are getting married in April 2011 in Maui. Coordinator: Jo Thurman Photographer: Arien Sherman Beach: Makena Cove Has anyone used Aekai Beach Weddings? Or any of these people I listed? I only hear really good reviews about Aekai beach weddings. Is there any advice you can give us or negative comments about them? So far everything seems to easy, its almost feels to good to be true.
