For the ladies that recently had their weddings and had the groom go over to Las Caletas early, did it cost extra to have the groom and groomsmen head over earlier? if so was it the $76 pp? Also, what kind of music did the dj play?

Hey ladies, Just a general question. How many days prior to the wedding date did you arrive in Puerto Vallarata? We were planning on gettting there 2 days before and doing our cite visit with Kelley the day before the wedding.

I could have sworn I saw pictures of a wedding where the groomsmen came over on their own boat. Hmmm...

Does anyone know if it costs extra for the groom and GM to come over early on their own boat? If so, how much does it cost? Thanks, Jennifer

Hi Horegan, Your wedding looked beautiful! I can't wait for mine eventhough its over a year away! Did Kelley supply the turquoise piece on your chuppa and did she charge extra for that? Also, did you buy the limes in P.V. for your escort umbrellas or did Kelley get them ! I love that idea. Congrats!

Hello Ladies, I'm not an official Las Caletas bride yet but I'm hoping to be soon! I recently got engaged and my fiance and I both knew we wanted a destination wedding. I've done tons of research on the Las Caletas and I love it!! However, my fiance's parents are apprehensive to go to Mexico and its turning into a huge deal. I feel like my dreams are being crushed of having my dream wedding there. I dont know how to get passed this issue. I feel like if we have it there then I'll feel guilty since they're nervous to go there but if I change the location then it wouldn't be my dream wedding. Part of me just wants to say "ITS MY WEDDING!!" I'm confused on what to do. I feel like if I dont have it there I'll regret it. I know Hawaii is pretty and could have a nice wedding there but I've already fallen in love with Las Caletas!!! Have any other brides had this issue? Thanks for letting me vent

For those that stayed at Dreams Puerto Vallarta, did the resort seem far away from everything? How long of a taxi ride did it take to get to town and how much was the cost? do you recommend staying there? Thank you all for your help
