Clearwater or St. Peteresburg Beach are great choices - not too far from Orlando also. The Sandpearl resort and The Don Cesar are first class and on amazing beaches.

Steve here in FL. Just wanted Brides to be aware that there is no Oill on the West Coast middle and south and ulikely to see any due to the currents. People are justified in feeling nervous so there should be some great deals in the short term. Good luck with your wedding and if you need any help in FL just ask.

It is a protected beach and park and would involve a tent/permit for the reception as there are no hotels on the beach. A local waterfront venue in Dunedin Bon Appetit Restaurants & Inn, Dunedin Florida could set everything up for you. Clearwater Beach down to St. Petersburg Beach are aslo great choices and have many venues. From Orlando you are looking at about and hour and a half to all of these locations. For the highest end locations the Sandpearl Resort in Clearwater and Don Cesar in St. Petersburg have no equal on the beach. Good luck!
